Life is Strange: Before The Storm Limited Edition - Xbox One

I've been a big fan of the Life Is Strange series since I stumbled upon the first game one night on my Xbox 360. I've bought the original and Before The Storm twice, once digitally and once when it comes to the limited edition. I very much enjoyed both games and the soundtracks to this series will always be stellar. The game itself does take some time to get accustomed to, as there is no rewind feature, but I think that works for the circumstances here

Although not as long or detailed as the original, I still thoroughly enjoyed this story and experience which takes you into an angsty teenager's life with all the complications and memories portrayed in a realistic way that appears to be written from the perspective of an angsty teenager, with very little BS.

Daughter loves the game and was very excited to get the collectors edition for her birthday, unfortunately the game we received was the Spanish edition and the outer box art was also in Spanish. The art book and cd were in English so that was good, and the game is able to play in English as well. It’s just that as a collectors item it is a bit disappointing. The listing shows the English version. We will still be keeping because she was so excited that she opened it up before we even realized it was the wrong version.

This product is probably the best purchase I’ve ever made off of Amazon. It came with what I ordered, and EVERYTHING ELSE I WANTED. I didn’t know it was going to come with all the extra stuff but it was such a nice surprise and incredibly cheap. I would 100 % recommend it. The condition was perfect. This order was amazing I love you Amazon.

Before the Storm, while it lacks the rewind function from the first game, Deck Nine manages to maintain and even exceed the emotional investment and connection to the characters introduced in the original Life Is Strange by Dontnod.The soundtrack fits the mood perfectly, and the story keeps a steady pace throughout. At only 3 episodes plus a short bonus prequel to the prequel, it still packs a punch without feeling like a drawn out slog.Some of the voice actors are different from the original, but they still fit the characters and deliver emotionally charged performances.

I LOVED the first in the series so jumped on this as soon as I saw it. Is a good game but I found myself missing the rewind lol. I know they couldn't put it in this one and have it make sense so the 4 stars is because it just felt like something was lacking in the story line. I didn't feel the need to replay it like the last one. That being said graphics are good and it does have some compelling stories. I ended up trading it in at gamestop. I would recommend borrowing vs buying this one.

I rate this five stars because I truly love the game whether I play the "Farewell" episode or not, but I am having trouble figuring out why I can't play it. On the back of the game it says that it includes the bonus episode, but when I tried to play it, it said I still needed to purchase it. I'm just confused as to why I need to purchase it if it's already included with what I bought from Amazon
