Still holding on
It's held up well over the past several years, surfing sporadically during all seasons. After 35+ years playing in the ocean, I'm not out there popping airs or ripping tailslides - but I'll get a few good turns in and smack the lip pretty good on a wave. I'll even stuff myself into a barrel if it's there.Clean the board really good before sticking the pad on. Be sure to get all that old wax/adhesive off before sticking the new one on. Use a wax comb (old credit card works too), hair dryer and/or a cleaner like SimpleGreen if needed. It's a one and done install, too. Don't try to pull it off and reposition the pad once the adhesive touches the board. I usually start by peeling the backing off -only partially- on the edge or corner I'm putting down first. Then continue peeling the backing off while slowly laying the pad down in one direction, rubbing it down as I go. Also, be sure the edges are sealed good. If sand and water get under the pad, it'll come off.Lastly, all my boards get a board sock and I NEVER leave them out in the direct sun or locked up in a hot car to bake and delaminate.Have fun out there!

Worth the price
Ordered this for a section of walkway on our boat between the swim platform and the main interior. The walkway was a smooth section of fiberglass where people would slip and fall if they were wet after swimming. We usually placed a towel down in the area to solve the problem, but that would get drenched and rumpled/moved fairly quickly. We bought this pad as a solution and are very glad we did. The pad is fairly thick and cushiony. It has a diamond plate design on top that looks nice and there is no slipping even with wet feet. The adhesive back is quite strong, once it is placed it is not coming back off easily. Even lightly placing it down, it takes some effort to remove. It is also very easy to cut in order to fit spaces. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

Added on Inflatable, works good
Put it on the seat portion of a Dave Scadden Outlaw Escape float tube that has an inflatable SUP style seat (dropstitch). Wasn't too sure if it would stick well as the surface is not entirely smooth, it has some dimples on the surface due to the Dropstitch nature of an inflatable SUP. Cleaned the area well and cut to shape. Applied from one end to the other to ensure no bubbles along the way, and then used a hard roller to activate the pressure sensitive adhesive. Let it sit for a day and re-rolled to be sure everything was set well. Used it a week later and it held up perfectly, no peeling, bubbles etc. Even with multiple inflate/deflates of the seat, and sitting on it for 6hrs in the water in 110f temps. The product is really well made, hope I never need to use the warranty or service from them, but it seems if I need it, its there and they are eager to help. Great product!

Adhesive is good, grip is good & product is useful but very much overpriced
Just put on my luggage carrier that I use to carry my competition pistol box which ways a ton and is the size of a small suitcase. The traction grip mat has was seems to be excellent adhesive. I cut the piece to customize to pad the portions of the cart I needed to. It cuts fine and sticks well. I cannot speak to long term durability as I have just put it on but it seems to be quality-only time will tell though.Price-the price is outrageous for the very small piece sold!!! I mean-wow-it is way too expensive for what it is. I'm not sure how anyone could afford to put this on a surf board. The piece I got was about $17.00 and a tad longer but thinner width wise than a sheet of legal paper. It worked for my purposes which was why I took a gamble and purchased it at the high price it is sold for.I think this is a useful product and was easily cut to customize for any purposes. Price not favorable but quality seems good and adhesive adhered well.

Extra Grip for Puppy Paws
I bought this non-slip mat to give my dog some traction while she perched on the front of my kayak. It adds a lot of extra grip and she was able to stand more comfortably while I paddled and maneuvered. I really like how easy it was to cut and stick to my kayak, the mat is thick enough to add a good grip and cushion, but thin enough to easily cut it with a pair of scissors. The adhesive is very strong, it has been out in the rain,on a few kayaking trips, put through the dog test, and I do not see any signs of peeling so far. I added some tape in the center of my kayak port, which holds a lot of sitting water and the tape held up just fine to being partially submerged.I liked this product over other similar grip-tapes because it allowed me to fully customize it to my personal kayak and preferences. It would be perfect if the back of the product had a grid to help with cutting but that is just a preference and doesn't take away from the product.

Works as Promised - Price is a Bargain! - May Become My New Go-To Pad
So far, so good. Big enough to cover the tail nicely. Good traction but softer and less abrasive than DaKine and other brands. Price is excellent. Three sections so fewer potential failure points. So far the glue is holding. But it's only been three sessions. I surf everyday so I'll know shortly how it sticks. If this lasts as long as my other pads, it's a no-brainer to keep buying them - they're half the price of any comparable pad!Update: Well, it's been pumping for weeks and I've used this in dirty river mouth peelers and countless chest to head high reef and point breaks. No signs of peeling. Grip is good. Wear is good. My only two very minor complaints is that it we a little wider and the arch bar be a little more aggressive and more of a hot dog shape instead of an oval. But that's not enough to stop me from buying these over and over. So I've bumped my rating to 5 stars because price is a factor and these are dirt cheap so it doesn't get better than this
