Easy to take and really helpful for sleep and general wellbeing
I bought these magnesium capsules because I had heard good things about magnesium malate and wanted something gentle but effective. I have been taking them for a few weeks now and I can genuinely feel the difference. My sleep has been deeper and I wake up feeling more rested, which is a real change for me. The capsules are easy to swallow and much nicer than the chalky tablets I have tried in the past. They do not upset my stomach and the dosage feels just right. I also like that they are vegan and made with good quality ingredients. The bottle lasts a decent amount of time so it feels good value and I appreciate that the form is magnesium malate which is known for better absorption. It is one of those supplements where you quietly notice the benefits building over time. I am very happy with these and will keep taking them.

Helped me with aches experienced with menopause
Approaching my mid 50's, I thought I'd gotten "over the hump" of being post menopausal, but this year, hot flushes and aches have returned like a sucker punch! Have not been able to take, nor have I ever took HRT, so have looked at other supplements. I purchased Magnesium Malate to help with the aches and it has alleviated them, but not eliminated them. I don't feel like a 75yr old getting out of bed anymore when I wake up, I only feel 65! That being said when I was poorly and couldn't take them for over two weeks, I noticed aches in my lower legs and ankles had returned. Had no effect on my energy or sleep, however I am having further investigations for ME. I completely understand that everyone's body chemistry is different, so results will vary. For me, I feel a difference so will continue using.

Well tolerated and non-drowsy
I chose this magnesium because it was bound to Malate which is tolerated better on sensitive stomachs like mine plus is doesn't have anything like the sedative affect of the other salts magnesium is bound to which is good for me because I'm already on medication that has a strong sedative effect. So far it's been tolerated well and has not made me any more sleepy, I will be reordering.

Surprisingly good
I bought these magnesium capsules because my muscles were tighter than my budget at the end of the month, and my sleep schedule was basically "close your eyes and hope for the best." Enter: magnesium malate, aka my new bedtime friend. First of all, these capsules are surprisingly easy to swallow, no horse-pill drama here. After a week, I noticed fewer leg cramps, better sleep, and a strange calmness that made me wonder if I’d accidentally turned into a yoga instructor. Bonus: they're vegan, so no animals were harmed in the making of my improved mood. If your sleep is garbage and your body feels like it’s made of rusty springs, this is your sign to grab some of these.

Good Magnesium Form, But Contains Unnecessary Filler
This New Leaf Products Magnesium Malate supplement, priced at £9.99, provides a good dose of elemental magnesium (150mg from 1000mg Magnesium Malate per 2 capsules) in a highly bioavailable form. Magnesium malate is an excellent choice for supporting energy and muscle function, aligning well with your morning routine. The product also explicitly states "No Artificial Colours or Flavours", which is a positive. However, similar to your other magnesium supplement, my primary concern is the inclusion of Magnesium Stearate as an anti-caking agent. While widely used in the supplement industry to aid manufacturing, it is considered an unnecessary filler for those prioritizing truly "clean" products. As such agents are pervasive across many supplements, there's a valid concern about their potential for accumulation over time, even if individual doses are small and generally regarded as safe by regulatory bodies. The capsule shell is made from Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC), which is a plant-based, vegan-friendly option, a preferable choice over gelatin. In summary, this supplement delivers its core benefit effectively by providing a quality form of magnesium malate. However, the presence of magnesium stearate, though common, prevents it from being an ideal choice for those seeking a completely filler-free supplement regimen.

Game changer for ME/CFS sufferers
Left this a month before reviewing to make it a fair review. Was recommended this by my ME specialist after struggling with prolonged crashes and lack of daily function, and what a difference. After first week I noticed I'd been way less fatigued, then by the end of week 3 I've managed to stop my day time sleeping which was 2/3hrs a day alongside my evening sleep to not having any sleeps at all. The increase in energy is definitely evident and prolonged periods of concentration improved at work. Subscribed to this so hoping to continue with the benefits.
