To expensive for soft chewy few pieces it contains!
These are ok, soft chewy not as thought and used to a hard nougat and very expensive for a handful ! Why do diabetics have to pay such a price?

Good
Quite good, I appreciate the fact that they are cut up and individually wrapped in small sections. However, certainly not exclusive to this product, but for many folks out there you need to be careful overindulging on sugar-free items like this because they can create a horrendous gaseous response in the body making it a race with the devil to get into the bathroom for the foreseeable future.

The Original Nougat Taste better.
The flavor profile did not align with the traditional characteristics of nougat, which I found unsatisfactory.

These taste pretty much exactly like plain almond nougats that are not sugar free! I found they were a bit hard but that might just a storage condition as well as a sugar free thing, they are not unchewable and soften up once you chew on them a bit. The texture is not exactly soft or easy to chew but I've also had some soft nougats that were this hard before so its all good. I'm not going to fault it too much. The ingredient list is very short. I wish they would also include nutritional info but I managed to find nutrition info online. I weighed a piece of the nougat on a scale and it came out to 10-15g a piece, which would make each piece 40-55 calories (very roughly and overestimating for leeway) so they are not necessarily a low calorie food. I think these were very tasty and with the difficulty sourcing sugar free sweets in canada sometimes, i would recommend this to anyone looking for a sugar free treat. Made with maltitol so be careful eating too many pieces.

I am both amazed and taken aback considering that the current price on this confectionary is just under $45.00. I do realize that candy and/or chocolates can sometimes be expensive but this usually provides a delectable treat and a very delightful and sometimes exquisite taste sensation. These do not fall into that category. First off, the product description states "Pack of 2" but you only get one pack. The product vendor is Andy Anand Chocolatier and this company has a website with many additional products. The product comes in proprietary packaging with each piece of candy individually wrapped. The website products show the nutrition facts but this box does not have any such labelling but does include ingredients and a cautionary note that excessive consumption could result in laxative effects. The product is described as sugar-free but if you go to the website, it does seem that the product includes sugars and sugar alcohol for most of their sugar-free products. It appears that the sugar substitute is malitol syrup, derived from corn starch that functions as a bulking agent and often used to sweeten candy. The product is claimed to be from Spain in the product description but the packaging is silent on this. The "soft nougat" is actually quite hard when you initially bite into it but softens once in your mouth. The taste and texture is average at best. Personally, I wouldn't't recommend this candy product at this price point.
