I read a few of the reviews and was confused about the comments left as this was by far one of the easiest, efficient and quickest hotspot setups I have used. The QR code to set up pops up on the screen and simply follow the fast easy directions. I was connected in less than 1 minute with "excellent" signal strength. I do believe the ones who stated lifetime access was not true misunderstood the item as 1 gig per month is allocated for free but more you need to purchase which is understandable since access is never free for long connection needs. The 1 gig allows for texts and is there for emergency comms when needed. I wholly approve this item and being not fully tech-savvy, appreciate the simple set up table. Excellent value!

I am a regularly traveler and i have been using their product since their first version 3g and then thought i need a faster net so got the old solis 4g (LTE) which was fine. I thought ill get the faster one 5g with a screen since i have lots of internet usage and they promised me unlimited internet for my trip to norway and finland. Of course i have purchased the unlimited for one month and what happen is within a week me and my wife have used all the internet according to what they stated. And when i contacted the customer service they told me i have used all the unlimited internet which is funny to say it was only 20 gb. I have bought unlimited sim card at the airport in helisinki for 5 euros and it works both as an internet and phone number , and in addition i can use it on daily unlimited for 0.99 euro daily. Which is way cheaper than what the company have promised. Never buy a fish from the sea. So advice guys no need to buy this device if they promise unlimited and then you are stuck with 20 gb for the whole month for 99 usd which i see it ridiculously high price. Get your wifi router and buy a local sim card it will be cheaper than what they promise if you need allot of data during your roaming with youtube and other social media now a days 20 gb is very limited . So my advice get a local sim card will be cheaper than what they promise. Am so disappointed from their service and promises .

Customer service for this product is outstanding. Agents are knowledgeable and dedicated to resolving issues. This is the model anyone providing customer support should use; they fixed my issue well in advance of me getting an email advising it had been resolved and, just to be clear, it wasn't an issue caused by Solis. Setup and connection was very easy. Connecting devices is a breeze. One caution; do not change your email if you have a lifetime 1GB plan. We use an earlier version of a Solis hotspot at the radio station I volunteer with, very useful and consistent when doing on location broadcasts. The security aspect is great, and comforting to have WiFi anywhere you can get a connection. Highly recommended.

Its a great purchase. It always finds signal. I only purchased the $90 unlimited internet. So it only gives a 100 gigs of high speed internet. If you need to download stuff use something else to not waste those gigs. It gives about 250 mbps, once its used up it might give from 20 to 30 mbps depending on the connection. For gaming is okay it lags a bit, but enough to play. Im talking about with the 100 gig used up. I wasted the 100 gigs by mistake, my game updated on its own while I was away. But I noticed it didn't use much data while gaming all day. For homework or browsing the web or videos should be fine. But videos might use up data fast For those complaining that it charges slow it's because you need a fast charger to charge properly. The battery does last a long time, for me it never had an issue.

This WiFi Hot Spot is really fast, and serves the purpose to my needs, providing me WiFi access while on the road, and/or internationally traveling. I chose this without the power bank combo because I'd rather save the battery for WiFi power than to charge causing to drain the device. It' better you purchase an actual Powerbank dedicated for that purpose.

We used this on a 10000 mile trip all around the US. Only got good service about 20 percent of the time. Plans are ridiculously expensive. I dropped the plan and will try to sell the device.

I bought this product in 2024 because I was traveling a lot and needed to have internet connection. It has been great and easy to use. It’s light and easy to carry. Most people say it looks like a cell phone. It connects to the best provider. I called customer service once because I was having trouble connecting, the employee was very professional and helpful. I also like that when I buy the Global gigs they don’t expire. For me, it has been a great value for the money.

Too expensive did not work everywhere (Dominican republic) Signal strength not that good.
