Was Very Easy to install,trusted brand,great value and works great!

The time where 8Gb of RAM is sufficient is rapidly drawing to a close, especially for PC gamers. To that end, my new Dell Inspiron 5680 Gaming PC came with a rather measly single stick of this 8Gb Hynix HMA81GU6AFR8N-UH RAM, running in single channel mode. Most all of the games I play (Forza 6 & 7, GTA V, DCS, and even CS:GO!) were readily devouring most of the system RAM, resulting in pronounced sluggishness and stuttering. I quickly realized that more RAM was necessary, so I purchased one of these to add to it and now I have 16Gb running in dual-channel. It was as simple as opening the case and popping the stick in the proper color-coded slot, rebooting, and 'voila!' RAM to spare. Of course, PC users are always advised to purchase matched pairs/sets of RAM, but I read a review above where another customer succesfully added a stick to their system, and since these sticks were manufactured by Hynix and the part numbers matched, I decided to take the risk. It certainly paid off! Additionally, I've benchmarked this RAM on Userbenchmark dozens of times now and it always performs in the 95th-98th percentile or "well above expectations."

Wanted to upgrade my old PC from 2016 with more RAM, as 8gb wasn't cutting it. RAM was easy to install and this upgrade has fixed several performance issues I've been having. Well worth the money!

Added memory to my anemic desktop to improve performance and achieved that goal. The reason for the four stars is that my "new" item had unquestionably been opened / unsealed at some point. Could have easily been a defective item return, which luckily for me wasn't the case, that would have cost me a 22-mile round trip to return. New shouldn't mean open packaging.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Good price. This RAM was compatible with my old PC.

Purchased 2 DIMMS to install in a Dell Optiplex 7050 that I had salvaged the original RAM from to upgrade another. One of the devices was packaged nicely and worked perfectly, but the other arrived in a broken blister pack in another bag, that had obviously been returned at some point. Tried it anyway, and wouldn't you know it, it wouldn't post. Swapped them around and mixed the configuration, due to RAM not always being cooperative sometimes, and still nothing from the defective DIMM. Returning for a replacement that Amazon says will be here in 2 days. If everything works out, I'll upgrade my rating.

I bought these two memory sticks for my Dell pc, they are the same type (identical as a fact) from the ones came with pc. My pc has no issue so far, and my game experience was improved a lot with increased memory size. nothing to say about installation, it is memory, so very simple---just plug them in the sockets.

The quality of pc board is good.

got my stick of ram earlier then expected. came in a small package. was excited to install it. ran upstairs turned off my pc. unplugged everything from my pc and opened 'er up. found the spot where the memory goes. opened the package. pulled the little pins back. took me about two tries to get it aligned properly. wasn't sure if it was going to fit. pushed a little harder then i thought and it clicked in perfectly. closed everything back up plugged everything back in and away she went. computer is going pretty well now. thank you very much to my friends who helped me pick the right type i needed. i recommend this product for anyone who needs a little upgrade.
