Easy to Install - easy to use
I bought the ramp kit to make it easier to load my lawn mower, and probably my snowblower into my truck bed. The were easy to install on the recommended 2' x 8' boards. (I made 2, 4' ramps). Depending on the height of your tailgate you may want to increase the length of the boards that you use so that the angle is not steep. Hardware was included, along with 4 cotter pins, that are for ???? Also included were two self-sticking foam pads that go on the underside of the ramp where it sits on the edge of the tail gate to prevent scatching. They work ok. I put an old folded towel on the lip of the tailgate then set the ramps in place. This prevents scratching from the metal ramp.

What I was looking for.
I was fortunate to have an 8ft 2x10 laying around. I had built a covered deck, 16 ft wide by 2 ft high. I can now drive my riding mower up and onto a tarp for maintenance and repairs. I'm eighty and what took me a few hours now takes me days. I need any comfort I can get. Now I get time, a chair to rest and protection from sun and rain. And our garage is for our cars. Anyone who does their own maintenance and repairs with two cars in a two-car garage knows what I'm referring too. GOD gave me the gift of work, and work has been my hobby. The harder one works the wealthier their spirit becomes.

Just what I needed.
This steel ramp kit worked out perfectly. I had a generator in the bed of my truck that was just too heavy to lift it out. A couple of 2X4's and 2 sheets of plywood cost less than $20 but made the perfect ramp. I was able to easily roll the generator off the truck. And it's made easy work of moving other big and heavy items. The ramp kit is made from thick heavy duty steel and the included rubber pads grip the truck bed well. No chance of slipping. Great price for something that's so handy to have.

Great plates, but......
These are pretty good, solid and heavy, easy to install if........... you have your own bolt mounting system. The provided carriage bolts are useless. There is no way to secure the square neck under the head where you can lock them down to tighten the nut. Then there are no lock washers, these are not nylon nuts. Thank goodness I have a huge wood screw kit and had some that fit with washer. The provided foam padding supposed to be for grip I assume, is just thin and tears easily. Anti-skid tape would have been a lot better. So if you have everything else I mentioned, then these are a good deal, if not, probably look for something different.

Did the job!
Worked great and a lot cheaper than renting ramps for a week. Installed on 2x10's that I used for framing headers so wood wasn't wasted and can use the brackets in the future. Heavy duty enough to load a HD Aerator and mower onto the back of my truck.

Great cost-saver as long as you don't mind lugging 2x8's around!
I'm surprised and happy that these exist. I headed down to the lumber yard to get 2" x 8" in 10-foot lengths, and I'm glad that I did. The 10-feet lengths are, admittedly, a chore to store and to strap down hanging out of the pickup bed, but the lower angle they put the ramp at is so worth it for a nice easy clutch-modulation to get the bike up the ramp. In fact, I don't think that I used the throttle at all, just slipped the clutch from idle to get the 360-pound motorcycle up the ramp.Pictured are the ramp-ends on a pickup-bed tailgate that is about 32 inches high. Also pictured are the two eye-bolts I bought from the big orange box store. I drilled smaller pilot holes for those. Also pictured is the ratchet-strap to the rear bumper from the eye-bolts for securing it (too many videos of people having their ramps jut out from beneath the bikes - don't be that person, lol). Lastly, since I used the two 2x8's next to each other (with an object to the left of them to use as a step-up into the bed), I used an additional ratchet-strap near the base to hold the two ground-ends together.

Solid product.
I purchased as I didn't need to buy a foldable or much more expensive full metal ramp. Easy to attach to the 2-inch lumber runners with the incline reasonable. I would also suggest and purchased separately adhesive slip proof runner sheets for my ramp boards. I would recommend.
