Gardenia by Elizabeth Taylor for Women - 3.3 oz EDP Spray

Found out about this product from a YouTube perfume specialist who said it was a greatly undervalued classic floral scent. I used to love Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia, but I've not seen it recently. Apparently gardenia is difficult to recrecreate. I find this quite good, although it is not as long-lasting as Jo's version. The bottle is an attractive art deco shape, made of glass and a vibrant green colour and there is a generous amount of product. (The box it comes in is rather uninspiring.) Definately worth trying if you like gardenias. I'm pleased I bought this scent and would consider doing so again.

I bought this perfume trying to find a substitute to the Yves Rocher one they discontinued. I am absolutely in love with this scent. It's soft, not overpowering at all but very pleasant. It's definitely my new favourite. I feel almost as If I was smelling fresh flowers.

I have been waiting 12 months to order a gardenia perfume and decided to treat myself for Christmas,most enquiries showed Elizabeth Taylor Gardenia perfume was available for purchase in the United States. Then I noticed one for sale in the United Kingdom, which I purchased, which arrived on time. The bottle has no label on it, The box looks faded and cheap. The perfume doesn't last and fades into a cheap smell that doesn't resemble guardenia. At a cost of over £30.00 I dont feel it is worth its value. I do wonder if it is a fake and not the real thing, as all these imatation perfumes seem to not wear well. I will not give up on trying to get a decent gardenia perfume as the fragrance of gardenia is really very nice.

Really nice perfume, good value, big bottle. Smells very fresh floral/green. I would say the longevity is great for the price. (My only slight complaint is that the atomiser came off when I took the lid off after a week of using it, but I reattached it and it works the same and hasn't fallen off since).

This is really a long lasting perfume. The smell is really intense after spraying that settles after two minutes and lingers. I find a bit of coconut in it too but I guess everyone's chemestry with this smell is different but yes gardenia is there and it's a good one If you love flowery scent go for it. Arriving took more than a month so it was a bit irritating packaging was also old but as the perfume is fine so I let it slide thank you amazon.

This is a surprisingly good perfume for the price. It doesn't smell cheap at all. Smells like any high quality, expensive perfume you would buy at the department stores. If the love the smell of fresh fragrant flowers, you will like this. I am very selective and critical of perfumes and have spent upwards of $200 a bottle. This has a delicious, slightly sweet scent when you first spray it on , then it dries down to a wonderfully rich, warm flower scent that lasts for hours. I would say this comes as close to the smell of true gardenia as I have experienced and such a bargain! I took a chance on this perfume because of the reviews and its reputation and I'm so glad I did! It did not disappoint!

I'm genuinely surprised by how much I love this. I'm a bit of a perfume snob and have bought into a lot of marketing and overpriced stuff in my day - this little gem by comparison is amazingly good value. The scent is gorgeous - a very fresh, true gardenia scent, perfect for hot summers. And the bottle is absolutely beautiful. The bottle I received is a bit different than pictured - the glass is a vibrant green, rather than a pale green, but that looks better IMO. There's no labeling at all on the bottle - very minimalist and looks amazing on my bathroom counter.
