I have a light gray/titanium colored interior and unfortunately the lighter the interior the easier it shows dirt, especially on places it tends to build up like on seatbelts where you also have the combined problems of oil from the skin. With the tight nylon weave seatbelts have it can really be a pain to get that out, never mind other things that might get on your seatbelt like coffee, soda, or even grease from food if you eat in your car. Recently I was giving my car a deep clean and I found a couple of my most used seatbelts had gotten a bit dingy. I set out to clean them and quickly realized how difficult it can be to clean a seatbelt, especially if it hasn't been done in a long while and the dirt and grime is really worked in there. While I was looking for solutions I came across this brush. I was mainly looking for cleaners, but when I saw this I knew I needed it. With the very reasonable price I figured that if it didn't work out I wouldn't be out much. This brush, I am pleased to report is worth every penny. It's firm bristles really got in between the fibers and scrubbed out everything. One minor complaint is that it isn't quite large enough to effectively fit the entire seatbelt in between the bristles, at least not the seatbelts in my vehicle. I had to go from one side of the belt, and then move the brush over or flip it to get the other side. It isn't bad because you don't really want to just be scrubbing up and down, you need to move the brush a bit as there are gaps between the groups of bristles and if you don't you'll wind up not with a completely clean seatbelt, but one that still has stripes of dirt. With it not fitting the entire brush it makes sure you adjust it periodically and that helps clean the material, so not worth dropping a star or two over. If your belt is quite a bit dirty I highly recommend having a bowl or bucket with some water in it to rinse this brush off. It scrubs really well, but you don't want to be spreading the dirt it gets out all over. Having some water nearby to quickly dunk the brush in and rinse it off helps you clean your seatbelt faster.

Love this! Funny thing, I have 2 of these, without a hinge, which I use for scrubbing silverware! (total game changer for this OCD girl with chronic health issues) Anyways, saw this hinged one for cleaning seatbelts. We just got a new to us rig, where the seatbelts were icky. I’ve done some cleaning, but needed something else to get a more deeper clean. (Would suggest getting microfiber cloth’s, which I need to get more of, as they’re great for picking up grime off of seatbelts!) Just used the brush tonight, couldn’t believe how dirty the water got! And so slick to use! I had a dish of sudsy hot water and laid the scrubber open into the water, doing small sections at a time, getting it good and saturated as I scrubbed away. Then kept the seatbelt pulled out, so it can dry. Even wet, they looked so much cleaner! Can’t wait to see it in the morning, once dried! Will probably go over them a few more times and use my microfiber cloths in between more thorough cleanings. Great price, fit perfectly, easy to use, love the functionality (look up the ones for doing silverware!) and it’s pretty durable!

Did not work well for cleaning my seatbelt.

I think original purpose of this piece was for dishes however I use it for cleaning seat belts! Effective as long as the chemical does the work. Great for adding an adjutant elemental factor and bringing the seatbelt back to life typically is a step many don’t do! Do what the others won’t do and know your worth. Undervalued addition to any detailers arsonal.

I recently picked up a 2011 Accord that had been well cared for. However, both front seatbelts had to be fed into their homes when unbuckling. I tacked them with this double-sided brush from bylikeho along with some P&S Interior and am happy to report they both retract on their own now. This brush stood up to some serious scrubbing action and is still in great shape. I would totally recommend this brush and some good APC if your seatbelts are having problems retracting under their own power.

Ive not actually tried this more then once. I think the bristles need to be stiffer.

I bought this 2-sided brush to clean the auto seatbelts on the driver side of my car. It worked GREAT! I had to replace the driver side seatbelt and the replacement was really dirty. After mixing up some warm soapy water and spraying it on both sides of the seatbelt, I scrubbed it with the 2-sided brush. It made the seatbelt look like it was almost new. I highly recommend it for any cleaning job needed on both sides of an item.

Seatbelts are hard to clean, this brush helps a lot.
