I purchased this item on May 16, 2023 for my kitchen which needed a slim fit trashcan. I was very pleased with the trashcan as it is sturdy and fits well in my kitchen. However, with normal wear and tear with only two adults in this household, the foot pedal broke off. I contacted the company first and received a response within a day saying that they couldn’t do anything for me and to contact Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they told me the return window had expired and they couldn’t do anything for me even though I’ve been a loyal customer and buy a lot from Amazon. I’m very disappointed.I am revising my review as the company was gracious enough to replace my product.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect but generous size for limited space in my garage. Too pretty for the garage! Well packed, no dents or scratches. Came with 15 x 8 gallons bags. Replaced 2 dingy, mismatched cans for garbage and recycling with this self closing can. Love the lid action as it saves space and is hands free. Easy to wipe down. I only wish that the foot pedal to open it was stainless steel instead of white (would not get as dingy).

I researched all possibilities on Amazon looking for a garbage receptacle that easily opened, lid closed softly, had large capacity and large opening. It arrived in perfect condition with no damage and was already assembled. This trash can was affordable and worth every penny! I use 13 gal regular draw string trash bags and it fits nice and snug around the inner bin and does not slip down! Seriously, I know I’m old cause this trash bin makes me SO HAPPY!

Update: I am adding one more star as the company replied to my support message albeit late. At that point I had already superglued the broken part and all working well.Great looking and functional but not even 2 months into use and the pedal broke. There is no kids in the house and adults are not slobs.Build quality is not there.Cheers,

The media could not be loaded.  I was so excited to get this (strange to say for a trash can. It fits perfectly where I needed it.But —— doesn’t close or even open well on left side. I tried to tighten it, but no go. It also is loose which may be part of the problem.Having people over for Super Bowl so am really disappointed.

The can is nice looking and seems to be well made. I would buy it again. The recommended trash bags of the same brand I do not recommend though. They tear open easily and do not fit the trash can.

I like the size and the easy foot opening. The free bags were a plus!

I like the trash can, but the foot pedal broke after one day of use. I really expected better quality with the price I paid for the product.
