Great smoke alarms. I like the fact I can test them and check the battery level on each smoke alarm using the handy app. The app works very well. I also like the fact I can name each smoke alarm in the app. They are very loud. The battery lasts a long time. They connect very easily. They look nice and value for money in my opinion. The UK voice is a clear and easy to understand. I'm so pleased I choose these.

One of those things that seem to have changed a lot if you ( like me) haven’t changed yours for a few years - maybe it’s just that these smart ones now fall in my price range. Installation really couldn’t have been easier - the app is very clear to use and connected and worked with my Wi-Fi very easily. Dead easy to add and enable each alarm. The voice is really clear, and the buzzer really loud ( the dogs hate both !). Really like having everything linked through the app as well as useful stuff like battery monitoring and remote test and silencing. Feels like a good quality bang-up-to-date product at a surprisingly good price - what’s not to like !

Great App. Easy to setup and connect. Decent value for money (not much more than non-smart ones). I have bought quite a few for my rather large house. I also have a few of their CO alarms, and their water leak alarms - under dishwashers, and where new plumbing has been done, just to be safe. Not had them go off yet, apart from testing that water leak alarms, but trust that they'll be there for me if they do. Also bought one combined Smoke and CO, for my in-laws house in the US, and can be alerted if it goes off, and see their CO level anytime (they didn't think their wood burning stove, and gas cooker with no hood either, created Carbon Monoxide!). So great for those who want piece of mind. The app also shows you battery levels, though not sure how accurate those are yet.

Easy to set up. Appears to work. We had a very Smokey incident at the incident while some carpentry work was being done and the alarms did not sound even in quite thick smoke. Really good app. We have 5 units around the house. Super easy to set up, monitor and test

Ease of setup. Initially downloaded the XSense app and then paired base station to WiFi. Had no issues at all with BT hub and did not have to change the settling of the router (probably the router has both 2.4 ghz and 5 GHz set up). Next adding smoke sensors was easy. Whole thing set up in 10 minutes including water leak sensors x3 and a carbon monoxide sensor all via the base station. Was easy to fix on the wall. Battery levels of sensors showing on app. Have shared app with 2 other family members. Can’t say how effective so far as no alarms have gone off.
