The Electric Chair Lift works, easily. Our caregiver demonstrated by being the patient and it did what it was supposed to do. He weighs 180, slid onto the seat, button needs to be held the whole time it rises and walla, your up and onto your wheel chair, couch or bed. Too many calls to the Fire Dept, picking me up and my husband. Well made.

Bought this after 3 falls! At 83 that can be lethal. Works really well. I keep it set up and in my living room so if I fall I can get to it by crawling etc. Btw, I also got physical therapy and haven’t fallen since!! But I still have it plugged in and set up just in case.

I bought this as a precaution...an insurance policy of sorts. I have always worried that if my husband, who weighs over 200 pounds (I am 120 pounds) were to fall, I would not be able to lift him from the floor. If he was not injured, I would hate to bother the first responders just to help get him back on his feet. I think this chair will be perfect for this purpose...one of those things I hope I will never need, just like homeowners and auto insurance. We tried it out after it arrived, and my husband was able to scoot on to it and it lifted him with ease. The instructions say that you need to keep it charged because you cannot operate it while plugged in, so I have set a reminderon my calendar to charge it once a month. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it is rather heavy, and if you have issues carrying a heavyish item, this will not work for you.

I am a caregiver for my husband. He suffers from Dementia and low blood pressure. I purchased this chair because its light weight. This is helpful when I have no one to assist me in getting my husband off the floor. I found it extremely easy to assemble and small enough to store without taking up a lot of space. I called the company for an additional six-month warranty, and I received it right away via email. I found the price to be reasonable and the equipment is sturdy. My husband weighs 170 pounds, so I felt comfortable with the stated maximum weight. For me, this chair represents a peace of mind. S Wilson

lift was too heavy and awkward to store and get out for an independent person who had fallen / shipping was free return was not / could work if there was another person available to help

A day after we received it we had to use it, fortunately the key pad was changed up enough to do the deed. Worked Wonderfully.

I really liked this product. It seemed easy to put together. I feel at least 6 times without a problem. The last time I fell the back broke and I was unable able to use it. It to a massive amount of energy and resolve to get myself off the floor. I would not get a plastic one. So I had to get a steel one.
