makes a little boy very happy
we bought this for our son's 3rd birthday and so far have not regretted it. he loves it. It's very sturdy and not that difficult to put together. It folds easily but not so easily that a wee one can do it. I love this slide, as does our son. He slides down along with toy cars, teddies etc even in the rain. I've found it very easy to move around the garden, for an adult, The wee fella has tried to knock it over on numerous occaisions and failed. It won't topple or tip no matter how hard it's shoved. The steps are perfectly placed for little legs and the hand rail is comfortable. It is a touch awkward to get out of the house however but that's a minor thing. The instructions are a bit mis leading. You really need to hammer the hinge bar in place BEFORE you attatch the base of the steps. It makes it much easier to get the no slip bits in place. I do have one niggle though. The drop at the end can be a bit sudden depending on clothes worn. My son is used to it now but it might startle a smaller child. So far I have found this to be a very safe and sturdy toy. It is well used and often abused but I have no issues. I would deffinately recommend this to anyone. The pure pleasure expressed on the wee fella's face when he tottles up and slings his teddy down head first make it worth it. I have a number of little tikes products and every one has been certainly worth the money. They make sturdy products. I do have to add I didn't buy this slide blind, I had already seen it being well used in a local Toddler play place. And if it can hold up to dozens of kids everyday, without fail one little boy is going to have many years of enjoyment from it.

My toddler loves it...
Pros: My little boy is 2 years 9 months and I surprised him with this slide. Firstly he was so incredibly excited about it, it was priceless. The slide is a perfect addition to a playroom and can be used both indoor and outdoor, we bought an IKEA soft play mat addition which cost £30 (I think) to give him something to land on because he comes down the slide at quite a speed. My son is tall for his age, often people think he 3/4 years and I can foresee him getting years of fun out of this. The slide folds away easily and seems sturdy and safe, once set up. Cons: It is incredibly hard to set up, would not have been able to do it by myself and needed my husband's help who also struggled. I think an easier set up would make this a clear 5/5. Overall: I think it was an excellent purchase, my son also slides teddy and cars down the slide :) We live in a flat and make it work, folding it away when we are fed up and getting it back out again almost makes the toy new. Your child will use his imagination and get lots of fun out of this. I anticipate my newborn will soon join the fun. Great fun making the little ones smile!

She's a good'n 👍
Pretty good little thing, the store page I'm sure said no screws but there are four 🤔 fairly easy to put together once you draw a pentagram, summon Lucifer and sell your soul in exchange for the strength of 16 elephants. The pieces seem like they would go together easily but oh Lord haveth mercy. Screws may not even be necessary unless your toddler is also a follower of Satan and has summoned his/her own strength. All in all it works, but now I'm doomed for all eternity.

Nice sturdy slide
This was purchased as a present for my 3 year old, he outgrew his first little tikes slide. This is really robust and sturdier than the smaller one and he enjoys the slight wave in the slide. The steps are very big so no falling off and the hand rails at the top help him to steady himself and sit down. The instructions are really annoying!! The rod you have to slide between the ladders and the slide is quite difficult to do, the red covers for this rod too are REALLY difficult. Ours kept popping off and going on at angles. It didn't take too long to make, just the fiddly bits slowed us down. My boy really loves this slide though and it's not a bad price for what it is. I think he'll have a good couple more years out of this one until we upgrade again.

Great slide!
Great product! Got this just in time for my 2y.o. son's Birthday and he and the other kids at the party had a great time with it! Assembly took about half an hour, very straightforward. The slide is sturdy and very safe, four toddlers were practically lining up for couple of hours going up and down the slide: one sliding down, the other one already waiting on the top and another one climbing up. The construction is amazingly solid! In the same time the slide is surprisingly light and compact, and we had no problem having it in our living room with all the guests, kept the little ones busy for hours!

Child loves it. Will last years.
Looking at the photos on here it's clear people aren't assembling it correctly. The top parts should be in line. People aren't knocking it far enough down into position. It wasn't easy (I'm a female and I built it alone) but you have to apply your body weight and bounce it in so to speak. It should click in. There's a groove for it to go into. The slide also does not just rest on the top like I've seen. It fits flush. You have to assemble the slide to the front wall before the wall is attached. It took me a good half hour of sweating to get it all in the correct position. But I worked alone without a mallet.I didn't want to risk splitting the plastic with one of those like other reviewers. I also disassembled it to go outside after indoor use. Use a peice of wood or similar under the wall and with some force it does come apart. This is my 2nd purchase of this product. I had one years ago with my eldest and it was loved then.

My granddaughter has played on this every day since I bought it for her. Easy to assemble and convenient the way it stores in itself. Really a good value for the money! She plays indoors and it works great on a rug as it will slide on a wood or tile floor. Very stable and safe. It’s also pretty light.
