Stylus does not work with Surface Pro 3
Seems like a good device, however it DOES NOT work with Surface Pro 3 as a stylus. I confirmed this with the manufacturer AFTER ordering it and trying to set it up. Kind of disappointing....

worthless
Bought this to use with dragon medical. Couldn't get it to work and the tech support was useless. With such a hi price for this idea. Went back to standard mic and seperate pen.

I have been using the Buddy StylusMic 7G for quite some time and I have had an outstanding experience! When my hospital told us that they were moving to complete EHR I was panicked about my clinical practice. Thankfully, I was fortunate enough to have a friend who introduced me to a slate computer (Samsung Series 7), dictation software (Dragon Medical), and a combo mic/stylus (BuddyMic 7G). This little stylus mic is nothing less than incredible! At first, I thought I could only use the PowerMic with my Dragon. However, given that I bring my slate from exam room to exam room and always have the stylus in my hand, the PowerMic option scared me. Once I plugged the sylus-mic in, it was instantly recognized by my computer, and in fact, it was perfect in Dragon. I find it to be extremely reliable in noisy environments, quiet environments, and it works well whether I hold it close to my face or far away. All in all, it is light, a superb stylus with great hand-writting recognition capture on the slate, and it has great audio. Furthermore, the customizable buttons are invaluable for toggling the microphone on/off and launching unique macros. Taken together, without my slate / dragon / buddymic, I would not be in practice-- together they are the triple threat on my fight against disease! Thanks for making such a great product!

ACCURATE MICROPHONE BUT SO-SO STYLUS
DOESN'T WORK AS WELL AS A STYLUS BUT IT IS AN IMPRESSIVE MICROPHONE IN A SMALL PACKAGE. SINCE MY MAIN NEED WAS FOR A COMPACT MICROPHONE IT'S WORKING WELL FOR ME

Works well, but poor durability/design
Stylus mic works well but has 2 3 significant desing flaws. The cord is too short so it is always being pulled when in use. The cord attachment to the usb port is very weak. I had to replace the mic at 16 months due to fraying of the wires at the connection. I do use it everyday and pack in up every night. The third issue is the USB attachment. When plugged into my Fujitsu on the side port it blocks the power cord access. I therefore have to plug it into the back of the computer. Perhaps that also contributed to the wear issue above.
