This works surprisingly well! I didn’t like at first that the product is yellow like mustard. But I have grown to like it as it allows me to see how much and how thick the product has been applied. I do like the strength of the product. I use it only once a week but it has improved my skin texture and reduced fine lines!! I use the Abib clear jelly moisturizer with it and I do not experience dryness or peeling. I’m pleased with the product and I will continue to purchase. The ordinary never disappoints.

This has been great! I've experienced some retinization the first 2-3 weeks but I feel like my skin is back to normal. I've definitely noticed a decrease in the pores on my nose & I'm hoping for more of a reduction in fine lines/wrinkles as I continue to use it. Definitely recommend for more experienced retinol/retinal users, especially at this price point.

The media could not be loaded. I started using The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion about two months ago, and honestly, I’m impressed. I was a bit nervous to try retinal (especially with all the talk about irritation), but this formula has been super gentle on my skin. I eased it in slowly, just a night a week, and now I’m using it consistently — no dryness, no peeling. My skin feels smoother, looks more even, and there’s this glow I didn’t have before. It’s helped fade some texture and early signs of aging, and I love that it feels light but effective. Definitely staying in my routine.

I have been using for sometime now and truly, had to say if it’s doing the work a retinol product should do. I’m going to go with yes because the mornings after I use this at night, my face feels tighter. The product is yellow-orange and stains the bottle where it has touched. It also leaves your face an orange tint, but doesn’t bother me since I use it at night. This product is definitely a very affordable retinol option!

I have been highly impressed with the ordinary brand of products. I recently have been beefing up my skincare routine and getting the more higher end brands now that I'm beginning to age and am getting closer to 40. Now normally the adage "You get what your pay for" is quite true, but this brand is definitely the exception to this rule. This is a very strong and effective retinol and I'm astonished that it is as accessible as it is and the amazing price point with it being so well done and effective. This is definitely not for beginners of retinol, this is for the seasoned retinol users, and those that have no sensitivity issues whatsoever with harsher skincare products. I started out with using the retinol in squalene with the serum dropper method of transfer until my skin became slowly transitioned well enough to begin the highest dose available with The Ordinary. This process comes in a tube bottle almost like a skinny cigar in size. I love the compact form, especially with so many products being serum based and in dropper vials, this is a welcomed change. This has a cap like a marker on top, and a small pump to dispense the product. The product is neon yellow in color, which is the color of retinol product. It has the consistency of the paint that would be used with finger painting. A little goes a long way. It is recommended and advised to only use a pea sized amount, but lets be real a pea sized amount is barely getting my whole face lol. I use two pea size drops to cover both halves of my face, one on the left and one on the right. This container will last you a long time, so the price point is phenomenal. Remember to start out slow and only use every few nights and work your way to every other day then nightly. Dont use this for morning/day skincare routine, only use this at night. Make sure to moisturize on top and absolutely definitely wear sunscreen the next day when going out in the sun because if not, you will burn and your skin will be very sensitive. I will be continuing to purchase this everytime I run out 🥰

Love it. Every night I mix 2 pumps with The Ordinary lightweight moisturizer to keep my face from drying out and it works perfectly. I’ve noticed my face is softer and I haven’t had any breakouts after 4 weeks of use. I’m blessed that I’m in my 40’s and I don’t have wrinkles yet so I can’t say how effective it is on that. I tried using this without mixing with moisturizer and it was not great. It absorbs so fast that a pea size amount only covers my forehead before I need even more pumps to cover the rest of my face, so mixing with moisturizer is a must for me because I can use it every night even though I didn’t build up to it and it keeps my face from drying out, and I’m using less product in order to cover my entire face. Results are fast with consistency of use and I will be repurchasing.

I love The Ordinary products, the ones I’ve used so far. This particular product is a little tough on my skin but to their credit, I went in with a bang and used two nights in a row. My face instantly got puffy and red. Now that I backed off a bit, it’s much better. However, I do not think I will get much use out if thus thus because the bottle is small and it’s a pump bottle -a pump bottle that you cannot open and shake the remaining good stuff off the bottom and sides. I don’t think it’s a good value for your money. Non-greasy formula but does have a yellow tint. It has not made my dry but not moisturized either. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
