Good quality wood letters without knots or blemishes

It was a great size letter to paint and personalize something.

Looking at the photo I assumed I was getting the entire alphabet, not a thin "balsawood" "o" for over $5 with shipping. Very misleading, that same "o" in hobby lobby is about 5 cents ( 60 letters for $2.99).

It was exactly what I ordered but I just thought that it was so cheap looking and tacky. Even after I painted it several coats. It was just so thin. If it had been thicker it would have made a world of difference. But it is exactly as it's pictured and detailed. I'm not even sure that they deserved only a three star rating. That was just my personal feeling. It may work beautifully for someone else. I guess it depends on what you need it for.
