Q: How do you put water in it to flush?

The little blue part on top comes off and you fill it up from the bottom. There's a button on top that you push to flush it.

Q: Would it be good for big boys? I have a 5 year old

It is geared more for little boys that aren't tall enough to use the commode. My daughter said that 5 year olds would be about the oldest. It was great when my Grandson was young. I don't remember what age he stopped using it. I did just buy one for my 3 year old grandson. We think they are great. I guess it just depends on how tall they are. Sorry, I'm not really much help. Q: How does the pee drain into the drawer below without a hole in there? No one has mention there not being a hole, but tthere is no hole.

We just got ours today and it doesn't have holes, as well. What is going on?
