Does what it says
I have purchased other Airscape products. I have found that they do keep items airtight. So far I have stored coffee and nuts in my containers without any problems.

A great storage device
The inner lid gets pushed down eliminating air above the product keeping my coffee fresher for longer. I now have 2 , one for decaf and one for regular.

Airtight!
Airtight and I’m not talking about the airtight that your mom likes. Great seal that allows ground coffee to maintain its freshness while avoiding oxidation which can drain coffee of its awesomeness.
