I bought my first Superior Gensing Extract in Chinatown SF 35 yrs ago. Since then I have tried many brands. Pocheon is a good as any and the price is the best I've found. Right now I am using it side by side with another brand that is 40% more expensive. Pocheon is not quite as thick, has a brighter taste and redder in color. This is consistent with high grade expensive extracts that cost twice as much. I'm going to stick with Pocheon Gold.

I've been drinking ginseng tea for many years to keep me healthy. Last time I tried the Royal one and this time I try this one. The taste is a little bit different but I like it.To me, I only take one time per day because if I take two to three times then I would have weight lost. I don't know if this happens to other people. I think it is the same theory of taking more strong coffee and more strong green tea to burn the body fats.On 12/31/20 I bought one more bottle because it is GOOD !!! Sure will buy again and again !!!!!!!!!! I truly recommend this GOLD

This one tastes richer than the other Korean ginseng extract i have been buying for several years. Bottle had leaked a bit when i opened it but still tasted fresh. Its more expensive than my usual Korean ginseng and time will tell if it is more potent.

This is a good value - it's different from North American Ginseng, which I prefer, but it's not available in this form. Ginseng is my magical root and fits like a glove; my stone is Black Obsidian and my metal Platinum.

I noticed the richness taste and flavor of this red Ginseng extract. After 4-7 days of use, it effects begin to show as better sleep, feeling more active and energy….

I have taken many Red Ginseng Extract brands for many years. The well-known Cheong Kwan Jang Korean Red Ginseng Extract is too expensive and no more good. (Some sticky stuff inside of which I do not find good or Ginseng ingredient) The dropping lines from the 1 mg spoon of this Pochen Red Ginseng Exract looks like really good quality and right Ginseng Extract smell. I believe also in 10mg/g of the Ginsenoside in this product. It has worked great so far and I am willing to buy this product more time to time. (Don't take Ginseng year around!) I only hope that the quality and price would be going steady with the Pochen's products.

The quality of current batch is not as good - the content is not as thick as before. The taste is milder and not as bitter as before. I have been taking this product for a few years now. I usually give 5 stars for this product but not for the one I got this time. Please raise the price, don't compromise the quality.Update: I asked to the seller about the QC problem. They replied that the extract appears thinner in summer but no explanation on the less bitterness. When there is no instrument to measure the content of ginsenoside, bitterness is one way to judge the amount of ginsenoside contained in the extract. I have been taking red ginseng extract for many years, and switched to this product about 3 years ago after finding it at Amazon. The bitterness of this product was greater than that of more expensive products - until the last batch I purchased in Dec last year. The quality was consistent and the bitterness was top notch over last three years. However, the one I purchased in June this year is not any more. I usually take it once a day, 3 grams in half a cup of hot water. It used to taste very, very bitter, but current batch appears about half as bitter as before, and this would indicate the amount of ginsenoside is about half of the amount it used to be. I experimented this product over a week, trying to see how the bitterness changes with different settings, but it was consistently tasting 40 to 50% less bitter than before. I was going to return this product, but I already consumed too much in the past two weeks.I will update my review when I get next bottle.
