Good value and quality router
I think this router is well worth the money. Personally I bought this to be a fail over for my fibre service as the company I'm with is a small company due to no openreach fibre as of yet. We have had a few outages and that means we have been offline multiple times and the worst was nearly 24hours. We also have lots of WiFi controlled smart devices that don't work without a connection so I have this router setup as a fail over if and when the fibre goes down and the plus side you can take it on holiday or in the car. I'm using the smarty social tariff at £12 a month which uses three network. I have a high end phone which also uses three and where I live signal and speeds are poor at best I get 30mbps on my phone. On the router I have seen spikes of 50mbps but again settles at 30ish unless early hours of the.morning. I have been testing the devices ability over a few days and been switching off our fibre connection so we are completely relying on the 4g. I did this over a few days but longest test was a Saturday where kids were home and watching tablets aswell as me having the TV on and using phones. Now this handles it quite happily and we have over 30 devices online. I could still access my cameras remotely, I experienced no buffering and I was very impressed. I feel like for a small household who doesn't require internet to work from home this would be superb. I have it located upstairs using the internal antennas sort of in the middle of the house and that seemed to be the best combination for a location to have power and access to the loft to get ethernet to main router but also signal and speeds. I can't rate this thing highly enough. I have also ordered a 5v usb to 12v adapter as that will be easier to.plug in at home but also easier to power in the car or from a power bank if we have a power outage. My only complaint is it doesn't have a battery which I could find a single one on the market that provided battery and ethernet. Not the end of the world as I have a jackery power station but just something to bare in mind. The only thing I have noticed is the WiFi strength isn't the greatest with my tablet which doesn't really affect me as my.main router does the distribution but this may just be my tablet being weird. All in all id recommend this, I would also recommend getting the usb supply atleast then you can keep the router power by a power bank or similar and move it round your home to find your best signal location like I did. I will add that I've now purchased a 4g sercomm router from three. They are highly rated and yes it gets good speeds but it is unstable. Sometimes it just won't respond and it struggles with getting a good signal. I wouldn't want to use it for video calls or online gaming. The mercusys on the other hand although slower it just work and never has an issue. The fact that this tiny little router in my opinion beats a very popular highly rated router is beyond Me. I'm in an area where signal isn't great and no 4g+. I feel for like a motorhome or something this would be the perfect router for the job.

Great little 4G router it was super easy to set up and works really well
Great little 4G router it was super easy to set up and works really wellI bought this MERCUSYS 4G router as cancelled my sky for a temporary internet connection, and it’s been brilliant. Just popped in a SIM card and it was up and running in minutes! No setup hassle at all.The 4G speed is solid, even with a few devices connected, and the signal stays strong. I have not used the external antenna ports. The Ethernet port is handy, and I love that you can control everything through the app.Overall, it’s a great value, no-fuss router

Past expectation.
Bought to use in a holiday home in Ireland using a pay as you go SIM from Eir mobile. I had low expectations but thought I would give it a go at the price. Initial problems with connection but no Internet. Using the app I managed to sort out the SIM pin, etc. Result was far past expectation, good signal across the house, successfully streamed various platforms and several people managed to log on at the same time. Absolutely worked a treat.

Ideal makeshift router, compact with good signal strength
We moved in a few months ago, and our internet provider told us it would take them 3 weeks to connect us to internet, cue shock and horror as I work from home and needed to be online. Hotspotting only gets you this far when you download data and your phone provider isn't great.I researched who was the strongest signal in our area and got a SIM with enough data for the whole family to use to tie us over until then. This was perfect! Easy to set up and find on our devices, simple to connect to. Signal shows with little green lights as it does on a normal router, and the strength signal reached upstairs to the bedrooms although a bit hit-and-miss for my Roblox players. That said, it worked great to have me connected on my laptop and working with uploading and downloading heavy docs, tablets and TV streaming. It's very compact and fits on the window sill perfectly. The only downside was that it needed to be plugged in, there is a battery option but it doesn't last all day and I couldn't take the risk to run out and have internet cut during a call.Quite inexpensive compared to routers out there, so overall a very good purchase.

It works!
I was a tad worried about getting this as the reviews are varied. However, so far it's working perfectly here on a coach tour of Turkey.I purchased a lovemobile data card and they helped me to get it working. Popped it into this mobile router and instant wifi for 2 phones and an iPad whilst traveling. It's small and light and easy to walk around with. Can't ask for more than that.

BSTTERY NOT GOOD BUT DEVICE IS
This is a fair review, the reason for the 3 stars is because of the battery life which I'm only getting 4 hrs from, the range of it is very good , it gave me a good signal better than my virgin mobile router , in a few places , I dont know why it drops the signal now and again but overall its better than my VM I have two phones and my TV connected to it , so the reasons for the 3 star's is the battery life (which is an easy fix by keeping it plugged into the socket ) and the drops of signal , but besides that it's easy to set up , you basically put sim car in turn ut on and register with the app and your good to go , I stead of an unlimited data sim card I was able to buy a 200 gb sim for £10.20 , I will see how long it lasts and see if it can last the month , if not that's an easy fix as well I will get an unlimited data sim , I was paying £56 a month just for me from VM , so to pay £20 now is a huge difference, and I'm sure there unlimited data sim card for less than £20 , I wish I would have got this before my VM , but we live and learn ,
