First of all, the box was a thrown together patchwork of carboard. The oil was not placed in a plastic bag or the lid taped shut nor was there packing material to keep it from rolling around. One third of the oil leaked out and through the box. Luckily, the other items were not ruined. The bottle is clear plastic. In the pictures it looks like a brown bottle which is recommended. The oil itself smelled like a good quality. Amazon is having me send it back and I will do a better job than the vendor. i
