Excellent simple glucose
Excellent simple glucose meter, simple to use and you get everything you need in the kit to get started. I am amazed at the new needles , I can't feel a thing . Great if you need to use your meter several times a day.Remember you only get a starter quantity of needles and strips .Good luck.

well worth getting.
I purchased these on behalf of a friend who wanted one for home. One for work and one as a spare. He says tthey are in his opinion the best ones to buy as they are cheap and reliable, unlike some others.

Need to check accuracy against a second meter
Accurate in the short term with relatively cheap test strips. However the meters age and within 3 years show inaccurate results. But the test solution provided suggests that they still work.I use 2 meters and checked one against the other when a result seemed unlikely; I had to borrow someone else's machine to identify which had gone wrong. There is no way to recalibrate these meters.

Handy Backup Glucose Testing Kit for the Car
This glucose testing kit lives in our first aid bag, which we keep in the car, and it's been really useful as a backup. I originally bought it just in case we ever needed it unexpectedly, but it’s already come in handy when my wife forgot hers while we were out. It’s compact, simple to use, and gives fast results. Definitely a good option to have as an emergency spare or travel kit.

Runs out of memory space
So, I could've go this on the NHS but I had to call some company and I was too lazy for that, so just bought this on Amazon. It works perfectly but the issue with this is there's no USB cable with it and you can't delete the readings, so once it's full, it will stop taking readings. 450 readings sounds like a lot but I do several tests a day sometimes, so it runs out quite quickly. I wished I'd bought something else now
