Delicious- but expensive!!
This sauce is delicious and addicting. If you taste it by itself, it tastes like mayonnaise mixed with a little mustard, onion, and sugar. The poppyseeds don’t add anything to the flavor, unless you bite into one, in which case they give you that dirt flavor that is normal with poppy seeds. There don’t appear to be any sesame seeds in the sauce, even though they are normally part of an “everything” bagel.Plain, the sauce isn’t that good, but when you put it on something savory, like chicken, it is really delicious. It has the perfect balance of mild sweetness with savory onion flavoring. It does not taste salty to me. There are very slight undertones of bitterness- again, it tastes like there is some mustard mixed into the sauce. It tastes nothing like avocados. The sauce is a good consistency for dipping things into it, or for pouring it over top of something like salad or meat. It’s a little too runny to use as a spread- you can, but it will drip if you try. What is up with the price of this sauce? It’s currently listed at $10.99 on Amazon and the bottle is only 9 oz. That’s some expensive sauce, especially since I’m pretty sure it’s mostly just mayonnaise. I guess the price is higher because it is made from healthier oils than most commercial sauces. I guess it could be worth the price if you are trying to avoid seed oils, but I wouldn’t order it again, solely based on the price. Taste-wise, it’s absolutely delicious and good on pretty much everything savory.

Better than the fast food sauces
First, let me say that I don't like mayonnaise and rarely like mayonnaise-adjacent products, but my husband is a big fan of a certain fast food chain's burger sauce, so I decided to try this.He loves it (of course) and declared it better than his favorite because it's tangier.Surprisingly, I actually like this too and would have no problem topping my burgers with it (even my veggie burgers) or using it as a light addition to sandwiches. It's not exactly “healthy,” but I appreciate that it's healthier than the alternatives. A little bit packs a lot of flavor with this sauce, which helps keep the fat and calories down, too.The bottle has a seal under the cap that keeps it fresh and tamper-free until first use, and the cap closes securely. It also has a handy spout to keep the sauce from coming out too quickly. My only complaint is that it has a short shelf-life for a condiment, even the healthier ones I've used. The bottle I received expires in about seven months. Most people should be able to use it up in that amount of time, but since my family tends to use condiments minimally, there’s a chance this might go bad before we finish the bottle. It's tasty, though, so who knows? It might disappear faster than our other, blander options.

Pretty typical burger sauce
The best part of this burger sauce is that it uses avocado oil as the base carrier which is a healthier fat than most other burger sauces. The taste is pretty typical to a generic burger sauce, with a kind of thousand island dressing vibe but somewhat tangier. There is a bit of an aftertaste that I don't particularly care for when tasting it on its own, so I would not use this for anything other than burgers. When putting on a fully dressed burger it is tasty and you can't really pick up on the aftertaste like you can when dipping fries in it.

Not a success for me
I'm always looking for interesting sauces to spice up veggie bowls and the like, but this just wasn't it for me. The first flavor you get on tasting is quite a bit of sweetness and poppy seeds, followed by a sort of odd garlicky oil flavor. I'm not really describing it well, but it doesn't taste like everything bagel to me, and is sweet enough that I'm not sure what it would go well with.

Like Mac sauce.... but different
This is really a delicious sauce that works perfectly on burgers, but also all kinds of other sandwiches. It has some really rich flavor, with a lot of zip to it. It's definitely creamy and isn't exactly healthy, but so long as you use it in moderation it works great as a condiment. If anyone is a big fan of the 'mac, they'll absolutely love this. It's close enough to taste familiar, but has a bit more tang to it.

Different
I love everything bagels, but this doesn’t taste like that. The sauce is a medium thickness and is creamy. Upfront it doesn’t taste bad but it did leave a lingering taste in my mouth that I am not fond of. I tried it on vegetables and frenchfries

Wasn't sealed when it arrived
When this container of burger sauce arrived, I opened the cap to remove the seal and there was sauce everywhere on the inside, the seal had opened on one side. Some of the sauce was dried up, some of it was wet, so it probably happened a while ago. I decided not to try it because it says to refrigerate after opening, and it's technically been opened. I'm very disappointed, I was looking forward to trying this. I can say that it smelled good, so I bet it tastes good too.

Looks like thousand island, tastes better!
This is very good! When I first received this bottle, it did cross my mind that this was just thousand island dressing, repackaged. After all, it does contain the same base ingredients of an oil, tomato, sugar, and vinegar. But there are a few differences. This Chosen Burger Sauce does not contain pickles or relish. And to me, the garlic and onion are a bit stronger here. Since it’s made with avocado oil, it seems healthier than others made with soybean oil. But with that comes more calories. This product has 80 cals per single TBSP, so I’ll need to use sparingly. It isn’t a thick sauce! I look forward to using on reubens, as fry dip, and more.
