Perfect!
Bought this to replace a plain opaque film for the window in our shower. Full size sash window (1925 house), dead center of the shower. The old film was quite opaque although shapes & colors were visible through it at night when standing in the shower. I bought this film because I liked the design & it was advertised as very opaque. I tested the opacity before I installed it. While preparing to cut it to size, I noticed I could see the pattern on the table underneath without difficulty. I picked it up & held it a couple inches above the table & nothing was visible through the film. I did a similar check after I installed it by putting a brightly colored shampoo bottle on the window sill, 1 inch from the film on the window. It was dark outside & the light was on it the bathroom. I could only see a shadow where the bottle was. In other words, the film is very opaque, as advertised. The hardest part of installation was removing the old film, which was glued on & came off in shreds with a razor. After a thorough cleaning with goo gone, I doused the windows with soapy water, applied the new film, used the flat edge of a comb to scrape out bubbles, & a box cutter with a fresh blade to cut the excess off. It’s been up for several weeks & some new bubbles have emerged. Not sure if it’s related to changes in temperature & humidity as we changed from autumn to winter in Minnesota, but the film is clinging & doing its job & will be easy to remove & reapply if the bubbles get worse.

Kitchen cabinet makeover!
When we re-did our kitchen years ago, I wanted cabinets with glass and mullions...that soon became a regret. Always cleaning the glass and could never get into the corners of each section very well. My friend has the same type of cabinets with the same complaints. I decided to buy this film. I took the glass out and installed it on the outside of the glass, so I wouldn't have to be a slave to them anymore. I took my time and made sure there were no air bubbles and the film was very easy to work wiith. I can still see inside them, it looks like textured glass with a blurred view and I've been freed from the slavery of trying to keep the glass clean. When I walk into my kitchen now, no more ughs! I wish I would have done this years ago.

REMOVE THE CLEAR BACKING
This window film is great...once you remove the clear backing. You can't see it or feel it, so use the provided sticker to try and peel it off. The problem is when you trim your piece but have leftover that you'd like to use for another window application. I tried to re-use the sticker, but without the super strong adhesive bond, it makes it really difficult. So, use your nail to curl the end and you'll see the clear film begin to separate from the window covering. Without removing this clear film, the cling will not stick to the window. So, if you're having trouble getting it to stick, you haven't removed the film. After that, use a ton of soapy water and the cling adheres nicely!

Magical window film!
A little hard to get off the back film but once you get it off it's pretty easy to install once I put up the last section on the window I just had once corner out of 8 that had trouble trying to peel at the corner. I love how it looks when the sun hits it directly and you can see all of the glitter. Very cute and calming in the bedroom when it's cloudy outside too!

Waste of money
This is the worst window treatment stuff I’ve ever used. It doesn’t stick at all. I’ve done 4 rooms of my house with different types and haven’t had issues until this kind. It doesn’t stick, no matter how much water you try to use it peels right off. Even the bottom edge peels against gravity and peels up. Don’t waste your money.

After spending £18+ this doesn't even stick to the window! It's essentially just a sheet of plastic that looks good for ten mins till it peals off again.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Just a light frosting but did not take away from my decorative glass.

The images gave me the impression that this product was going to be a bit more opaque. I knew I was buying a window privacy film and those always end up being more clear than not but I took a chance because the design looked so good. I was originally buying this for some cabinet door windows but I may skip that idea since these really only seem to look their best in an actual window when the sunlight shines through.
