I bought this lamp for a purely utilitarian reason - Vive Ultimate Trackers needed bright, even lighting around my room, and my nighttable lamp, wall spotlight, and ceiling fan didn't cut it. I'm usually wary of paying 3 figures for LED lamps as dubious quality LEDs can be used, we all know the corners cut in these devices. But this one worked beautifully.Installation was fairly quick and easy - screw in some metal plates between three metal tube structures, then slide the soft LED strip right in. Setup was fairly easy - I purchased Govee products before, so it automatically recognized the lamp without much hassle (I had to find the 2.4 Ghz password). The lamp has very even lighting up the strip, which goes to my chin. Casting against a wall corner brings soft, even light to the room.I was impressed by was the versatility. I expected a silly RGB panning thing, and there are features for that, but what I got was the ability to change brightness and color temperature! I made two nightlight presets, both 2700k, one at 5% for when I need to use the restroom, another at 1% when I'm just in bed and need a little light to see something close by. I've been frustrated with my lighting options for nightlights as I have particular sensitivies, but being able to dim the lamp that much and get nice lighting, and save those presets as a button in the app was an unexpected surprise!It's really hard to think of anything I don't like, here. Some of the motion can be a bit jittery. If you have an uneven floor, I don't think the lamp has any adjustments for the bottom feet. And it would be nice for 5ghz Wifi to be an option. Or, at this price, maybe even something remote. Otherwise the light is beautiful, the app works well, and I have no major complaints! It exceeded my expectations, which is very difficult to do. I will definitely be looking at more Govee products in the future.

The media could not be loaded. If you're debating on spending the money on this or getting a cheaper one... Get this. I got a different one for a 1/4 of the cost and it was terrible. This one has everything I would want. Feels sturdy and durable, very user friendly (even the app), brightness is good. I don't like super bright but I appreciate the difference between the darkness and light. I can customize changing colors and slow it down. The other one I tried had only super flashy options and couldn't customize the colors. While it is pricier than the other options on here, worth every penny. The music function works surprisingly well too although it's more flashy than what I want it has many customizing options on the app. The basic remote works great but you really want to use the app for full customization.

We have many Govee products, and this is proof as to why. The Govee Floor Light is just beautiful. It is very minimalistic, can be placed just about anywhere and creates the most gorgeous accent light. It is perfect as additional room lighting, for creating a mood, celebrating holidays and events, or just for playing around with.The light reflects off of a wall, or best yet, a corner. This creates a glowing effect that is mesmerizing. The settings, themes and effects are almost limitless. There are tons of presets, and then you have the share function, and the DIY function. You can get themes/effects from other users and share your own, and also to create your own. We are now in fall and using the Halloween theme. It fits perfect with our Govee TV light with the same theme setting. Sitting around or watching TV, this light helps create a mood to fit your desires.I am super happy with the Govee Floor Lamp and give it 5 stars.

I have four Groove floor lamps in my apartment, and I love them! The set up is easy, and works seamlessly with my Google Home. I have automations set up for my floor lamps, and have no issues. The colors are great for any mood you want to set. These lamps make my living space feel modern and well lit. I’m not one to use main ceiling lighting, so these work as a great alternative.

The Govee Floor Lamp 2 is a fantastic addition to any space. The LED lights are incredibly bright, vibrant, and customizable, allowing you to set the perfect mood whether you want warm whites or colorful RGB lighting. Assembly was also super easy, and I had it up and running in no time.However, the remote control system is where this product falls short. The included remote is very limited—you can only cycle through pre-set solid colors and adjust brightness. For a product with such advanced lighting features, I really wish there was a color wheel or more options directly on the remote to customize the RGB colors.Instead, you’re heavily reliant on the Govee app to unlock the lamp’s full potential. While the app works, it’s not the most user-friendly and can feel a bit confusing at times. For users who want quick and easy control, this can be a drawback.That said, once you get past the remote limitations, the Govee Floor Lamp 2 truly shines. The lighting quality is top-notch, it integrates well with Matter and Alexa, and it’s perfect for adding personality to your space. If Govee improves the remote functionality, this product would be flawless. Still, I’m very happy with the lamp overall and would recommend it for its style, brightness, and versatility.

Great product. Good quality. Does lots of different lighting effects, and can light up according to sound. Worth the money in my book.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy design. I have over 50 Govee lights installed. Their integration with Amazon Alexa works flawlessly. The only other lights I use are GE SYNCs because Govee doesn't seem to make PAR38s.
