I would have given five stars as the tool is great…BUT The supplied collet chuck on this item is 6.0mm. Dimensions of 1/4” shank is 6.4mm so my existing tools don’t fit. The collet nut as supplied is captive on the 6mm supplied collet, so you can’t use it on replacement 6.4 mm collets. A replacement collet nut and adapter collets comes in at approximately £30-50. Great tool… but be aware of this🙄😎👍✊

Aw yeah! its brilliant! - Look, buy one, and when she asks why, just make something up.... you need one of these, just incase you ever have the need for one.... makes perfect sense to me.. Its the kind of tool you spend hours playing with when you first get it, then start destroying stuff with it as you 'test it'. Typical DeWalt, and scary strong.

Perfect for drilling/grinding through hardened steel, using a tungsten carbide bit, it is like a hot knife through butter, 45 min drill job reduced to 5mins tops, worth every penny.

Used a hand drill for burring before buying this tool, what a massive improvement with the high RPM, hand tool, use daily

Very good tool , powerful , nice in the hand and at a great price, DeWalt never lets the workmen down All my tools are DeWalt and would not use anything else.

a new one arrived today that was noisy and duff before I used it. the spindle gets bent and makes a terrible noise as it bibrates and then the trigger stops working too -its not even as though I use it everyday.

Meine Alte B... Maschine habe ich schon Jahrzehnte lang aber jetzt ist es passiert Scheibe eingehakt die Maschine vibriert so Stark das ich nicht gehen lassen konnte, konnte auch nicht ausschalten der Schalter ist am Ende der Maschine, dann flog mir der komplette Einsatz am Gesicht vorbei habe direkt das Kabel abgeschnitten. Jetzt habe ich den Dewalt Schleifer das ist ein Umstieg wie von einem Goggo in einen Mercedes jetzt habe ich drei Drehzahlbereiche kann die Drehzahl zusätzlich mit der Hand regeln. Jetzt ist auch meine Dewalt Maschinensammlung komplett,ich habe nur noch Dewalt Akku Maschinen.

Tiene unos leds que alumbran la zona de trabajo, pero no alumbran apenas. Cualquier taladro de la misma marca con un sólo led alumbra mucho más. Aparte de eso es excelente, no pesa nada, es muy potente, no hace apenas ruido, no se calienta, no vibra y a juzgar por lo que duran las baterías no gasta mucho.
