Perfect for My DIY Power Bank Setup!
The Renogy 1000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter is exactly what I needed for my DIY power bank project. It delivers clean, stable power for sensitive electronics and runs quietly without overheating. The build quality feels solid, and installation was straightforward. Great performance and reliability highly recommend for home, RV, or off-grid setups!

Good product, but not enough power for using it in semi truck. It’s still usable for one microwave or freezer but for both of them on time- shut down every couple of minutes

Very reliable and puts out the power
This has been a great inverter for my fifth wheel camper. I wanted to get a solar setup and be able to run my chest freezer in the Arizona sun. This inverter runs nonstop keeping my freezer cold and occasionally running my 1” electric water pump at the same time. I have also used it with the freezer and a standalone AC unit on those 100+ days and it never had a problem as long as the sun was good. It has been very reliable and I may purchase another one for a vehicle soon. Running with 600 watts of solar panels by the way.

Finally A Quality Inverter
Cables are rated 200A with 3/8” Copper Eyelet Lugs, excellent cables. These lugs will work fine with 5/16” marine terminals. For 1/4” terminals, you’ll need a washer. Arcs pretty aggressively, recommend connecting positive line first while unit is switched OFF. This is a sign that there are big caps and might handle big inductive loads well. At 180W, fans are completely off. If you put your ear to the unit, there is an almost imperceptible hum. The tone is lower pitched and is not bothersome or even detectable from a few feet. Connecting/Disconnecting smaller 100W inductive loads doesn’t cause power loss like in cheaper units such as Potek 2000W Pure Sine Wave inverter. At 320W, fans are still off. The hum is now almost undetectable with your ear to the unit. At 1050W, the fans are still off and still almost exactly 120V AC. I’m impressed. All lines and terminals are ice cold. The hum has taken a new tone, but it is barely detectable with your ear to the unit. At 1130W, the fans are on low. Unfortunately, a high frequency squeal is added to the noise profile that I can hear from 20 feet away. I have young ears (age 30s) and can hear 15kHz+ no problem. You probably aren’t using this thing as a pillow at night, but just be aware. I'm calling the upper limit at 1100W continuous for my personal use because the noise drives me nuts. YMMV. At 1600W, my battery bank voltage drops to 10.8V which may indicate that I am reaching the limits of what loads I can reasonably test with only two batteries and low charge. The fans are at medium speed and we’ve dropped to 110V AC. The high pitched squeal is very slightly louder. It seems like the fans are responsible for the squeal. I will recharge the batteries and retest higher loads tomorrow. I am running out of appliances! This is the first inverter of four that has met, and actually exceeded my expectations. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one. Literally the only issue I've come up with is the high pitched squeal at 1100W+, which is well above my camper van base load 98% of the time. I am a HAPPY CAMPER thus far, thank you Renogy for actually delivering a product that meets and even exceeds its specifications. This is my fourth inverter; all previous inverters were returned for one or more serious issues. At least one reviewer listed the soldered 25A fuses on the mainboard as an issue - they managed to blow one or more of them. I like this unit so much that I don't have the heart to test.

Dangerous and Unreliable for Mission-Critical Use — Serious Internal Faults and Zero Accountability
This inverter may be okay for simple RV or camping use — but if you're running ANYTHING mission-critical, stay away. We installed this Renogy 2000W pure sine inverter to power a VHF/UHF repeater site supporting emergency communications across rural Colorado. Despite perfect grounding, filtered AC lines, and a robust battery bank, this inverter began triggering false key-ups on our repeater — a potentially dangerous and unacceptable behavior. After exhaustive troubleshooting, it became clear: The inverter's internal transfer switch or AC circuitry is injecting noise or voltage spikes into the line — triggering receivers and falsely activating transmitters, even with controller logic turned off. Even worse: ✔️ No alarms or faults triggered ✔️ Battery levels nominal ✔️ Repeater receivers locked into "active" state ONLY when inverter AC was present ✔️ Issue resolved immediately when the inverter was disconnected We have extensive documentation, SDR audio recordings, and logs proving this — and this is the SECOND Renogy inverter with identical issues. Their support team plays the "stall game," asking for redundant info and now demanding product compatibility research for a clearly self-induced issue. We were ultimately forced to disconnect AC from the inverter and invest in an expensive Victron charger to maintain battery health — a workaround that shouldn't have been necessary. This is not a safe product for any critical communication or backup system. If you're running an off-grid repeater, surveillance node, emergency shed, or any public safety system, do not use Renogy inverters.

This 3000watt inverter came quickly and on time. It was well packaged and simple to install. I got it hooked up to 500AHR 12volt battery bank in my trailer and the thing ran my AC unit and my fridge!! Obviously wouldn't do that lomg term as batts would drain fast, but it is nice to know, when off grid we can make toast and brew coffee at the same time! Very happy with the unit... I have only just installed it so have not used it for any length of time yet, but so far, so good!

I bought this 1000W on a promo mainly to run my chest freezer (149W) and fridge during an extended power outage. This model is great for that and barely dropped the power in my 100Ah LiFePO4 for about 8 hours. Already have three 50W hobby solar panels so in theory could extend for days. This model does not have enough power for a microwave (mine is 1300W) but I was aware of that when I purchased. Recommend you use a Kill A Watt device to determine before you place order. Cables are heavy duty and fan never came on during this minimal load. Love the fact it's pure sine wave, I can move it to friends house/camping with battery or run /charge off of car as well! Way cheaper and lighter than those solar generators if you already have some of the components

Tengo unos cinco o seis años experimentando con energía solar. He tenido inversores de otras marcas. :-(
