Excellent Series of Books
I like this series of books, they seem like a good value for the money and they are informative. This one is provides info on making cities and towns but goes beyond just giving you prompts and provides some background (story) to work with. Minor damage on arrival thanks to Amazon putting a hardcover book in a giant box with a a single piece of paper for padding, again, but not bad enough to return. The book itself, content, style, etc. is great.

Useful and great value
I'm really enjoying this series of guides. This guide was excellent and useful to me as a GM. The value and print production is excellent. I've seen similar books go for double the money.

Another fantastic book from the Game Master's Series!
The Game Master's Series never disappoints. Their latest installment "Instant Towns and Cities" is yet another great book of inspirational ideas to put in any TTRPG campaign. This book offers 100's of settlements, town, cities, and or major capitals that you can use on a instant in any campaign. The authors give you so many great ideas for encounters. For me I always have a hard time trying to make up a city on the fly when my players decide to go off the beaten path (like PC's always do). Well with this book, it helps you out so much. You just need 5 mins to read and BOOM you have a settlement or town with governments, people, and enemies. It's that easy. Now this book doesn't have mapped out city and town grids, however if gives you, the GM, unlimited tools and inspiration to make your towns and cities exactly how you want. You can literally put these ideas in any game setting. You can use their premade towns, mix and match, or go wild and roll on the random charts. I have every book in the "Game Master's Series" and they just keep getting better and better. The pricing of these books for how much ridiculous content you get is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this book (and all the other Games Masters's Series books) to any GM.

Great ideas for sub plots and mini quests
I don't know what to say really.I think I was lucky to stumble across this book. It's very useful to use as a filler for potential side quests.I added this to my collection immediately.

Well fleshed out random villages.
If you need a random town quickly this is a book for you. More than enough detail for a DM to quickly run a town adventure.

Good tool but needs a smart gm to utilize it fully
A useful guide for generating ideas. The book contains different environments such as *Forest, sea front, tundra* etc. And each one of these has a bunch of locations with buildings, shops rumors and questions options. While this is a tool to get *YOU* as a gm thinking. It doesnt hold your hand and explain the stats of the store owner and items for sale or the actual map/layout of the structure in question.I enjoy it and I think its a great tool to add in the box for what to populate a location with. Its a bit pricey for what you get but the book is a good quality and is well written. I do wish it had some map options

Another solid offering from this series
Need a quick filler town/city because your party decided to go off the campaign trail? Some interesting options here to help you flesh out a world quickly and add some possible story hooks down the road. No, this book is NOT a town creator, it does not have maps, NPC stats, but what it does have is pretty darn good for something on-the-fly or to add in to campaign. You can use some of their other supplements (such as the NPC book) to flesh out the towns more, if the party wants to stay a while.
