Love this! If you have a problem with humidity! THIS IS FOR YOU! I usually straighten my natual curly hair walk outside, my hour and a half is wasted. I kid you not, I'm on day four it's only reverted at the back of my head in the roots still able to push it another day. I wash every five days so this works for me. I used the whole line, except for silent treatment, it was sold out everywhere. I can't wait to straighten my hair again hoping I will have silent treatment in hand.

Pros: This shampoo smells amazing. It felt amazing while washing and I love a shampoo that I can easily detangle my hair with. It also lathers really well. My curls were really soft, defined, and frizz free after using the shampoo. It made styling my hair for that day a breeze. Cons: When I woke up, my scalp was extremely dry. Way more drier than usual. It was white flakes all over my head. Overall, I do like the shampoo, but I think that I need the whole system for it to work and avoid the dryness that I experienced with this shampoo. I feel like the whole system would give me amazing results. I recommend this shampoo only if you're willing to invest in the entire line to achieve great results.

It works! I also use the Fast Forward, and my curl pattern is returning! I don’t know if just using the Rewind or the combo of Rewind and Fast forward that b is helping my curl patter, but either way it is working for me so I will keep using them both since it works! Oh…and it smells great and makes my hair nice and soft.

I was excited to try this curl retention shampoo. I have several different hair products from "The Doux" and love every one of them so needless to say I had high hopes for this shampoo and I have to say they were well exceeded. I have type B color treated curly hair, I've lost some of my curl pattern in some areas and have been working on getting those areas back to my natural curl. So to say the least I was excited when I seen that this shampoo claims with every wash the more of your natural pattern comes back helps you "press rewind" on your hair! Not only does it claim to help with curl retention but it also states that as it draws moisture to your hair it also has bonding technology that is supposed to help reduce frizz and breakage. I've been using this shampoo for roughly 3 weeks and still haven’t found anything negative thing to say about it. When it comes to shampoos and conditioners one thing that is huge selling point for me besides what benefits it has to offer my hair is scent and how it leaves my hair smelling. This shampoo is not lacking when it comes to how it smells, this smells absolutely AMAZING! It’s advertised as having coconut scent but in my opinion it smells like candy and it’s not that type of overly sweet candy scent that makes you feel instantly sick! I noticed that my hair and scalp felt cleaner and cleaner like with every wash it was removing buildup that I never realized I had. It left my hair feeling lighter, softer, and fuller than it has in a long time. It’s like the more build up that it removed and light er my hair felt the more of my pattern started to return. It seems like the build up was weighing down my hair causing me to slowly lose my curls and this shampoo has helped with what the names states “hit rewind” on my hair. It’s also helped my hair become softer and less frizzy meaning I now need less product to help maintain my hair. All around this shampoo has done wonders on my hair and I would recommend others to give it a try and see what benefits it has to offer for their hair.

I only have the shampoo to try, so I can't speak for the entire system that this shampoo belongs to. That being said, there were a few things I really liked about this shampoo. First, it has a very lovely smell. It reminds me of the scent of fancy hotel shampoo and immediately brought me flashes of fun vacations I've taken! Secondly, it really did great at enhancing my naturally curly hair despite the length which typically brings curls down. Now for the things I didn't like and the reason I won't continue using this product. Before even using it, I read the instructions which tell you to use a generous amount of the product not just once, but twice while you're showering. With my long hair, this means I've used up a third of the bottle just after 3 showers. At almost $15 a bottle, I'd expect it to last a lot longer! Another downside is it left my hair feeling like it had a waxy coating to it despite the vigorous amount of scrubbing I did. Because of this, after only a day, my hair, although curly, felt weighed down and clumpy. Perhaps if this product was paired with other products in their line up it would work much better, but mix and matching this product with my other regularly used curly hair products did not go well for me.

This shampoo worked great for my silk press. It lathered very well and cleansed my scalp and hair without stripping them. My hair actually came out soft and moisturized and my curls looked great before blow drying. I would actually use this even for regular washes without heat styling afterwards because my curls came out so moisturized and clean. The scent left behind was pleasant to me personally, I liked smelling it throughout my silk press process. I used this along with another conditioner and a serum and my press came out sleek and shiny! Definitely impressed with this product, the Doux never misses lol. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars.

I have wavy/curly hair and this works wonderfully. I've been using it for a couple of months now and fond that Using it leaves my hair looking great. It has great shine and definitely adds moisture to my hair, keeping it looking great. I do occasionally use hair creams and pomades and this does a great job of cleaning by hair. My favorite part about this though is the smell. It smells AMAZING! It almost smells like a grape candy of some kind. I love it.
