Keeps automatic watches wound when not in use, also extending the life of your watch. Gentle rotation keeps your watches wound and ready to wear. This is a brand new single watch winder, in gift box. Features: Wind either clockwise or anticlockwise via select switch Auto rotate 1 hour and rest for 3 hours Approximately 400 turns per hour Approximately 2430 turns per day Removable watch grip Size: 150mm x 140mm 7x 140mm (L x W x H) Weight: 600g Constructed from a lightweight yet sturdy plastic casing with a durable polycarbonate flip down cover the unit has a refined appearance. The unit operates on A/C current only. An AC/DC adapter for use in the United Kingdom is included. Works well with virtually any automatic watch. There is lots of space inside for a good sized chunky gents watch and plenty of clearance between the turntable and cover. The removable watch holder is soft with a removable outer band that allows you to reduce the circumference for watches with smaller straps. With the band it can hold a watch strap circumference of 190mm. With the band removed its circumference is 170mm. For many discerning men, it's not enough to just have a watch case for our finest jewellery. Today's most extravagant timepieces come equipped with an automatic movement. That means they never need batteries and never need to be wound by hand. They're powered by the kinetic movement of your body when you wear them. But what if you have different watches for different occasions? Chances are some will stop from extended periods of non use. Our specially designed automatic winding case will keep your favourite watch wound and ready for when you need it. A low acoustical noise motor keeps the watch moving on a turntable nestled beneath a see-thru lid. Watch is not included.

It works and Looks good
I was a bit dubious when ordering, as it looked a bit plasticy in the image, which really doesn't do the item any favors. It looks a lot better than in the images, and is really good quality / value for money.I have mine in the bedroom, and you can hear it a little if you wake up in the middle of the night when it cycling, but not enough to stop you going back to sleep.

Time Tutelary Automatic Watch Winder KA079
I bought this based on the price and the look of the product. I much prefer this to the rounded plastic looking versions. For the price I think it is good value and if it lasts a couple of years I'll be happy as you could buy several of these for the price of the more expensive ones. It works well and is asy to use. My only slight disappointment is that you have to manually switch it between clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation. It would be nice if there was an option to automatically switch between the two rotations but at this price I'm probably expecting too much.

Stops working
I bought a Time Tutelary Watch Winder in 2013 for the first time to use with my Cartier watch. It worked very well but then died after 2.5 years. It was less expensive than this model which I just bought recently. This model, although over GBP20 more expensive, looks nicer (not so cheap looking) and the holder for the watch is softer and nicer. So far it works very well. It is very quiet - much more so than the version I purchased in 2013. I do worry that this one will also die after about 2 years but we shall see. The cost of replacing every two years is certainly better than paying for the very expensive service that Cartier offers when the watch stops keeping time. Update - so as expected, this has stopped working after almost 3 years. Will not buy again from this manufacturer and desperately trying to find something that lasts longer, but reasonably priced.

Offers good value for money and looks good too.
The KA079 watch winder looks smart with its black plastic and clear acrylic lid. It appears well made and works well as described. The 3 position switch allows clockwise or anticlockwise turning of the watch or, of course, off rather than automatic switching of direction as some more expensive watch turners offer. This is not really an inconvenience and should not put you off buying this item. I have been trying the KA079 on my bedside chest of drawers and it is not as quiet as I had hoped. At night, in a quiet bedroom, it would be audible in this close proximity if you are not a heavy sleeper. My example appears a little louder when winding anticlockwise but, even then, it would not disturb most people if placed further away from your "sleepy head"!Overall I am very pleased with this watch winder which offers good value for money and also serves as an attractive display case for your favourite watch.

Perfect Watch Winder
Very happy with this watch winder, has kept my Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean ticking along just fine. Absolutely minimal noise is made as well, you won't have a problem with this in the bedroom and being worried about the noise it makes unless your bedroom is the size of a rabbit hutch!Only minimal issue is the circumference size of the cushion. If you have a metal bracelet, it may be a little tight or if you take the outer sleeve of the cushion off which is possible, the watch then maybe too loose on the cushion.

Great product
My husband was delighted with this item to keep his automatic watch going so he can keep it for special occassions without risking damage by it sstopping and re-setting all the time. The box looks very nice quality and it can fit quite chunky watches with no problem. The motor is very quiet when it starts up, towards the end of its timed rotations its a tiny bit louder but no problem to keep it in the bedroom.

Disappointed with this product as it looks good and the motor noise is quite. However, I ordered this product twice and was not happy with scratches on both the clear glass and the black plastic sides on both boxes. Maybe I was expecting to much for my money here, but when you put a nice watch in the box it does not look the part.

***EDIT*** Cheap Replacement Motor Found!! Starts out well, then gets noisy and stops working...
****EDIT****Taken mine apart as on my 2nd winder now and refusing to buy a 3rd!!There are 4 x small screws located in the base of the winder, rip off the felt and an inch or so in, diagonally from each corner, you can find the hidden screws.Undo 3 x small screws in the motor, and lift out of the winder base.Unscrew remaining screws on the motor casing and the replacement part you need for a worn out motor is 'MABUCHI RF-300EA-8Z485 D/V5.9V Mini 24mm Round Spindle Motor'.DON'T throw away any parts until you've fitted the new one, as you'll need some of the pieces. You may also require a new Electrical Cable Connector quick splice lock, for the wire terminal unless you can remove the existing one without damaging it!Good Luck!!Added 5th October 2020.Purchased this in May 2018, and as of September 2020, it's now stopped working. I've noticed with these type of winders that they never last longer than 18mths - 2yrs, at best; so will not spend much on them in the future, OR I'll purchase a far more expensive one! This model did start out working very quietly, and as time has gone on it has become noisier prior to stopping working.I paid a lot less than the current selling price of £74, so I would definitely not purchase one again at the new price, knowing full well it may not have a long life span!
