HERBIVORE Gentle Cleansing Bar Soap for Face & Body, Suitable for All Skin Types, Vegan, 4 oz

I have read the reviews on this product from multiple sources and decided to try it. I will give my 6 day review on it first and update at about 10 to 14 days.I have seasonal skin. In the spring or summer it's normal to oily and in the winter or fall, it's normal to dry. I do have sensitive skin. I did not find that this soap upset my PH. I don't think it's strong enough to if I'm being honest. My skin was not affected in a sensitive skin way. Even though it is naturally fragrant, I found it mild enough to use on sensitive skin.I bought this soap for two reasons. One, to use as a deep clean or daily clean for my oily facial skin right now as we are experiencing high heat in CA. Two, to help get a deeper clean in areas exposed to less sunlight due to the humidity and heat here. IE. Underarms, under boob, between thighs, and so on. I would not recommend it for personal feminine parts as no fragrant soap is right for that job. Talk to your doctor.The soap did just fine. It not only broke through the oily skin issue, but it didn't dry me out horribly either. Sure it was a little dry, but that it to be expected with a deep cleaning bar soap. I find this soap to be gentle enough for every day or every other day use. My skin was clean. It completely resolved any issues within the first two days. I felt super refreshed and clean. It looked clean and it made my skin glow a bit too. I noticed the redness in my complexion fading as well.It smells wonderful. A lot of the ingredients are pretty good too. I got many compliments on the smell from people around me directly after I showered. It's not overpowering but the perfect amount.A little bit goes a long way. It foams up pretty easy. I could cut the soft bar so I'm not wasting the full bar under the water. This way I could put a bit by the sink in the morning for a quick facial wash or after workout wash.The only gripe I have is the packaging. It's your typical soap box. Simple. Elegant. Clean. However it felt a bit flimsy. It was packaged very well though so it did not arrive damaged.I hope this review helps. I am considering trying all of their product line and leaving reviews. Its pricey so I may take my time.

i have tried a LOT of different soap brands. I really liked the fact that i can use this on my body and face and it cleanses but my skin doesn’t feel dried out at all. the smell is so good. i’ve tried a couple of Herbivore products in the past and i really appreciate the brand and what they are doing. the price of this soap is very reasonable for how long it lasts. i have combination facial skin and slightly dry body skin.

I purchased this soap several months ago and noticed that my skin looked clearer and smoother. I didn't give Herbivore Botanicals credit for this amazing transformation of my skin that's been challenged by stress and hormones. Fast forward to July when I noticed my face was breaking out and my skin didn't look as radiant. What happened? I got lazy and substitued other facial cleansers or wipes until DUH, it was the HB Pink Clay soap that needed the credit for my formerly transformed skin. I'm back and here to stay!Information that might assist others: My skin is combo and I'm in my 50's. When breakouts occur they tend to pop up in the cell phone range (jaw line and side of cheeks). Our climate tends to be humid. The Pink Clay soap feels nourishing and cleansing on my skin without leaving a residue or drying out my skin. It the first cleansing product (and I've invested in a wide range) that has made a noticeable difference.

Only reason I give 4 star is it's package. The soap is packages in a simple small coated box, but it's packaged again in a thin plastic bag, and then there's the Amazon's bubble envelope. I think the plastic bag part can be removed. It's not much, but little things build up to be big island of waste, especially when we're using so much already because of the pendamic.Okay, so for the product itself, I was looking for eco-friendly alternative to soap, but one that's also very gentle to skin that I can use for both body and face, and has all natural ingredients.This one IS gentle, only uses oil ingredients, and if I had to rate 1-5, I would say around 4. The scent is nice and not too strong. When I used it for the face, I don't have to rush to apply face creams, but I do feel like using heavier moisturizers.

I use this exclusively for my underarms. It helps keep skin clean and fresh. I also like that it doesn’t contain extra oils or scents like most other charcoal based soaps.

I actually heard about Herbivore Botanicals and always wanted to try their products. I notice that UO (Urban Outfitters) sell there products also, but since I had an Amazon gift card, I checked on Amazon and to see if they had any Herbivore Bontanicals product. I was in luck!Once I saw that they soap was a face/body soap, I immediately had to purchase I been using it for a couple of days now. I must say its smells REALLY good not to strong like a lot of body wash and soaps. But it's a nice cool summer scent. It doesn't particularly smell like florals, more citrusy in my opinion, however I am not complaining.I like they fact that I can use it on my face it DOESNT not dry out my skin. Like not at all! I come out the shower refreshed a lot of bodywash and soaps can strip the skin of its natural oils but this product definitely doesn't do that. Must purchase for anyone who is looking for a natural/organic SoapJust a tip, you can cut the soap. A little piece goes a long way!
