Merrell Women's Chameleon Shift Traveler Waterproof Hiking Shoe

Saw reviews and was hesitant concerning size. I wear 8.5 and I bought that size, they fit perfect even with the addition of gel insoles. They look great and are very comfortable, I have had several pairs of the Merrell Moab hiking shoes, which I have always liked except for the soles separating. Was ready for a change...only a week so far, but very satisfied. Thanks Amazon for quick delivery!

I wished the toe box was wider, but the shoes have great foot support and shock absorbers for walking.

Really wanted to like these but unfortunately I had a problem with the fit. The width was perfect but the length ran short. I also noticed that the volume of the instep was really shallow compared to other Merrells I have owned in the past. I will be returning these.

So disappointed in these shoes. Merrill used to be such a great and dependable brand...no more. Cheap quality, poor fit, where is the leather that was so soft yet durable? They have sacrificed quality for greed. Merrill has lost another customer. I bought these to replace a worn out pair of Chameleon Arc Travelers, no longer made. Such a shame.

I work 12 hour shift and these are my work shoes. I have high arches so I always have to add additional support but even the support that they come with is better than most. This is the third pair of these that I have purchased. My only complaint is that the lace loops at the top and bottom are fabric/strapping. This feature wears thin faster than the shoe wears out. Although it hasn't happened I worry that a firm tug will eventually break one of these straps in the worn spots. Otherwise fantastic shoe. I will continue to purchase them for work as long as they are available.

It is very tough build shoes. It is not breath well, so after 1 hour of wear it. My feet will fell wet.

Waaaaayyy too narrow. I always wear the same size in all Merrell shoes, but these were so narrow that I could barely get my foot into the shoe.
