Absolutely Amazing Engraving Machine!
I’m beyond impressed with this engraving machine! Setup was straightforward, and the instructions were clear even for a beginner like me. Within 30 minutes, I was already engraving wood and acrylic with beautiful precision. The machine runs smoothly, the build quality feels solid, and the laser power is more than enough for hobby projects and small business use. I’ve tested it on wood, leather, and even coated metal — all turned out perfect. What I love most is how accurate and consistent the results are. It’s quiet, fast, and the software is user-friendly. If you’re thinking about starting a craft business or just want a reliable engraver at home, this is the one. Definitely worth the investment!

High quality, sturdy, very capable prefect for a starter engraver.
Did some research on this laser engraver via YouTube. And this device shows capable of doing exactly what I need it to, cut and engrave. It was easy to assemble, feels very sturdy after assembly, and look high quality. I have some 3D printer experience, but this is definitely new to be, so I have a learning curve on how to use it. But my first impression is that I’m very happy with the purchase and excited to start my learning journey and start making money with it. I would recommend this as a good starter, because I have also read that the lasers are swappable so when I’m ready to upgrade and No longer afraid of burning down the house, I’ll upgrade to a higher output laser module. But until then, I will be enjoying this purchase and looking forward to my new side hustle.

Awesome machine and quality for the price
The media could not be loaded. The Ray 5 10 W laser engraver is easy to set up and use, works with Lightburn and Laser GRBL software. It does have a little of a learning curve but that might be the software Lightburn more than the laser cutter / engraver. It has great functionality and build quality. It has a good size work area 400 mm x 400 mm and can cut through cuts through materials up to 0.8 inches/20mm thick for wood and 1.2 inches/30mm thick for acrylic. I appreciate its value for the cost and the functionality for both DIY and small business projects. I cannot wait to start using it more often. I had to contact customer support for assistance because I misplaced my focusing rod, but they were great help and responded promptly. Sorry about my voice and stiff speaking.

Not bad
FINALLY!! This is the THIRD laser I’ve bought in 2 weeks and it actually connects to the computer and works fine with both laserGBRL and Lightburn. Etches/engraved steel and glass with no issue and very clean. The laser itself is definitely what it says and is quite powerful. It does a really nice, detailed engraving of photos too!I am an absolute beginner i.e (just taught myself to use lightburn like 2 days ago) and I was happy with the ease of use and assembly. Instructions are pretty ehh but whatever.. use your brain and you’ll be ok, hopefully.Cons:There are no physical limit switches so be careful and take your time to make sure you place your file correctly. Don’t trust lightburn to follow your input of the laser dimensions.Doesn’t come with a honeycomb panel so you’ll have to buy one or put down a piece of sheet metal like I did.Anyhow.. nice powerful laser for the money in my opinion!
