Nice compact bag for fishing.
The bag appears to be of good quality. The size is listed on the product page. It is a decent size and holds the necessary items for Steelhead bank fishing/drifting. Any larger would be defeating the purpose of having a nice, compact bag instead of using a full size back pack. I just had to prioritize the items to place in it, along with the quantities of those items. I would recommend this bag to anyone utilizing it for a one day outing. Just load it with the items you need for the specific trip. It’s not going to hold everything….including the kitchen sink. That is not it’s purpose. The pictures posted by other customers are not the actual bag you are purchasing. There is no drawstring to draw closed on the large compartment on the bag. The pictures listed on the product description page are correct.I have attached four pictures of the actual bag I received.

Great small bank fishing bag
I wanted to downsize my tackle bag a bit for when I am just walking along a bank fishing in the park, and this one fits the ticket.I fit 2 Plano 3650 boxes comfortably in the main compartment. The side has space to hold 2 pliers type tools, and the bottom holds a fish holder/scale nicely. The small pouch on top appears to be perfect for a spray can.And If fit way to many bags of soft plastic bait crammed into the front pouch.... I want to say something around 14... I still need to thin those down but there are just so many different fun things to throw. There is a nice spot on the side to hold a water bottle, haven't done it yet but it sure looks like it will do the trick. There were a whole bunch of extra straps and attachment options that I pulled off, my goal is to simplify my pack, but if you want to have a million things dangling off every which way, I am sure you could accomplish that. The MOLLE grid on the front looks perfectly functional, so you can stack bags on bags on bags if you feel like there isn't enough bag in your life.Great bag, so long as the components don't give out too quickly as I beat on em, I will probably buy more of these in the (hopefully) far future.

Put your gear on your back and go
Hi Folks, This is the first half of my review, I will follow up in spring.First I am disabled ( nerve damage) so I see things through a slightly different glass now. I have always loved to fish since I was a boy and I have fished many places. As my disability progressed it has become more difficult to walk, I use a cane which is like having an unwieldy third leg so imagine going even across a parking lot with a cane, pole and tackle box. It can also be unsafe for pets and near relatives and fishing buddies! So Far ...I have found enough pockets for every bit of tackle, line, knife and pole (with room for snacks)So the plan is to be able to get to some better fishing at local reservoirs and rivers. With just the pack and cane I should make it farther, safer. When I saw this product I almost heard "click" from being able to slide into place the piece I had been thinking of and I find somebody else did a MUCH better job.I hope to add a few pics and more feedback soonBob

Excellent for fly fishing!
I just received this bag and started using it. I've finally found something for fly fishing that is capable of holding all of my heart, waterproof and doesn't hinder casting. This thing has twice the storage of previous shoulder slings that I've used. It is capable of holding larger fly boxes, so I can carry a lot of flies. There are more compartments than I need and I carry a lot of stuff. It also has loops and clasps capable of putting my nips, floatant and tippet where I can reach it easily. The straps keep it secure, so I'm not constantly adjusting it. It is put together well for durability and should last a long time. Last year, I got everything in my shoulder slings wet and rusted most of my flies. With this waterproof bag, I don't have that worry. This bag is easily worth three times the price.

game changer
This is actually the third bag I have bought and I love them. I am actually using them on a daily bases for tools and testing equipment in the hvac service industry. They have replaced all my tool boxes and help me to save time in trips up and down buildings or even just a short walk back to the truck due to the surprisingly large amount of tools I can carry in these bags. This is mainly due to the compartment layout and the large amount of external attachment points on them giving me quick load adjustments based on the particular job I’m dispatched to. I’ve been exclusively using backpack style tool bags for 3 years now and these are the most practical and versatile to date. I have no plans on changing bags and expect these bags to last for a good amount of time with average 30 lb load. Thank you for providing such a great quality product.

6 of my friends have purchased this after me.
I think this is probably the best bag I've ever purchased, I use it for multiple things; range bag, fishing tackle bag, day bag & work bag. I really should probably buy a couple of them! I wish I had one of these when I was in the Marine Corps, this thing is the perfect size for getting around the stuff you absolutely need.Quality is excellent, and the amount of pockets & space is perfect. As others have mentioned you can purchase a few clear screw boxes and they fit perfectly - I have bought 6 different water tight boxes and outfitted them with certain fish type lures to make my fishing experience pretty selective, makes the day that much easier to rummage through my bag and find what I'm looking for.The only thing that I wish this came with is a better shoulder strap (don't get me wrong - it works perfectly) as I wish there was a little bit more padding when you have a heavier load. I'm sure for the right person creating/fabricating a leather strap for this would make it absolutely amazing.

Lovely fishing grab-bag
This is a lovely, well made little bag full of features. I bought it for my husband, along with a telescopic rod (his nephew managed to lose his last one, spinning in the river). Like most households that have a fisherman in, our garage is chock full of fishing gear and can only be navigated when he has gone night fishing. My freezer is full of manky old food and reduced fish counter items that he insists on keeping as bait. But for when he wants to nip down the river and just throw a rod out for a couple of hours, I bought him this bag to keep on hand. I bought him some quality tiny lures, too. It is full of compartments to keep different bits in, and room for a drinks bottle. The telescopic rod can be slid behind the straps. Price wise and compared with other products, excellent value for money and good quality. Would recommend.Update: husband loves the bag

Perfect
The Standard size version, did , i must admit look very small when it arrived, however, despite its size, holds a lot of kit.holds all by lures, tools, coffee flask, etc and can get 2 rods, landing net and unhooking mat attached to it as well.loads of attachments options etc and small compartments.perfect for that day session lure fishing trip.

Good stalking bag
Great little bag to carry essential tackle, I've added a couple of carabineer clips to carry my unhooking mat and landing net. Perfect size for stalker fishing.

Wouldn't be bad but check the stitching
This pack would be pretty good if the stitching wasn't so poor on the seam around the velcro patch.Luckily it looks ok everywhere else apart from this one bit, but does make me wonder how long its going to hold up .
