It seems ok. All plastic but works ok

Overall good emergency light
Functions as described. Good build quality suitable for residential and light commercial. After charging it provided light for 1.5 hours before I shut off. Has 3 cell nicad battery pack. I may upgrade to larger SLA battery in future (if I can find one compatible). 1.5 to 2 hours is probably good for most installations.

This light was good looking, and it still have a metal case,every thing these days, are plastic case,

Faulty Product
After being installed by a professional electrician, these lights blow the light bulbs each time they are activated.Electrician said something is faulty with the internal wiring of the light.
