An excellent, solid piece of kit! 👍
Boy did I take my time looking at all the different sand scoops available before deciding that this one offered the best deal in terms of design, build quality and price. I do like that it features a simple, press-button release mechanism to allow a quick way to attach and detach the main scoop body. You will need to purchase a separate pole, I actually used a spare double-skinned aluminium pole I had knocking around in my garage. When fitting a pole be sure to use stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers.I used this scoop recently whilst detecting on a beach in Cornwall and I have to say it worked a treat, so in my eyes, this was a very good investment indeed. If you’re searching for a sand scoop then look no further because I have no reservation in recommending this one to you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

That I get what was advertised and not something less than what I saw. Regards James

A good value scoop for beach detecting which dismantles easily and is easy to use.
What attracted me to this particular model was the very low price and the secure looking fixing points. The handle is in three parts and screws together with coarse threaded parts which are easy to take apart again ( provided that you lubricate them adequately)To get started you need to screw the attachment bracket to the bottom part of the pole using the threadlocking screws and washers supplied. You even get a hex key and spanner. The attachment point slides into a bracket on top of the scoop and has a sturdy spring loaded button to enable easy attachment and removal. As soon as this arrived I went to my local beach and tested it fairly boisterously for two hours. It does what it is supposed to do. It doesn’t bend or give the impression that it is fragile in any way. There are, however, a few negative points. The scoop end wobbles about a bit on the fixing bracket. Not too much, but a bit irritating. It can probably be remedied by using a bit of packing. Possibly a bit of inner tube or similar. The chrome wore off the first time I used it - see the photo. Probably not critical as long as you wash, dry and lubricate the scoop when you have finished the session. I do think that the screw joints and spring loaded button will need to be kept well greased to remain effective. This scoop is a great idea. You can dismantle it small enough to fit in a small rucksack. Couple this with a metal detector with a telescopic pole and you have a very portable outfit for beach detecting. I would have scored this five stars if the chrome didn’t wear off so quickly.

Yet to try it out yet, but solid build and well-made

Adequate
Does the job it's intended for. Seems durable. Not used it enough to comment further yet. Easy enough to make a handle for it.

Decent, but not great.
This is fine, and I use it on sand and in rock pools, but I have concerns about the rigidity of the shaft. I do t think it will last. Also, the plastic handle was useless and disappeared very quickly.
