I’ve been using the Simple Modern 24oz Mesa Water Bottle for about two weeks now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. As someone who’s constantly on the go — from workouts to errands — this bottle has become my daily companion. Insulation: The double-wall insulation is no joke. I filled it with ice water in the morning, left it in my car during errands (in Las Vegas heat!), and it was still cold over 6 hours later. I haven’t tried it with hot drinks yet, but based on how well it holds the cold, I have no doubt it would perform just as well. Straw Lid Design: I love the built-in straw! It’s leak-proof and easy to sip from while driving or at the gym. I tested it upside down, shook it around — no leaks at all. As a fan of Simple Modern products, I was excited to try their kids' water bottle, and it hasn't disappointed. This bottle is perfect for keeping my child's drinks cold all day long, even in warm weather. We've been amazed to find ice still floating around after a full day at summer camp! The leak-proof straw lid is a lifesaver. It's designed specifically for this bottle and forms a tight seal, so I don't have to worry about spills in my bag or car. Plus, the bottle comes with two straws – one fitted for the lid and another standard one, offering flexibility. I needed this water bottle as I needed something that was able to be fit into my tote bag and car. It was really important for me to find something that was able to be slim enough that it could carry enough water, but also fit cupholders and spaces in my bag so that I can easily bring it to school and be on the go. it is also amazing because when I put ice in it, it lasts a really long time and keeps my drink really cold. It’s also dishwasher safe and easy to clean if you would like to by hand wash. I got the 24 ounce in the almond birch color and it’s like a pretty oatmeal color. Overall, I really love this water bottle! *Something else to add is when I flipped it over it did not leak at all so if I were to drop it, I would be rest assured that it would not spill water. It’s been really hard to find a water bottle on Amazon that meets all of the criteria that I’m looking for so while it may not be the perfect water bottle for you, make sure that you’re looking for water bottles that are meeting the criterion that you require. So, for me that is making sure it’s a dishwasher safe, leak proof, and able to fit in areas like my car or bag.*

My daughter loves this water bottle. It is the perfect size for an early elementary child. The water bottle is good quality and a real workhorse. She takes it to school everyday. We have not had any issues with spills or any malfunctions. The color is bright and cheery, perfect for a girl who loves pink!

Been a SimpleModern fan since day one. Love the coffee tumblrs, I've bought multiple over the years. Love the company and the brand. Coffee stays hot in the tumblers, water stays cold in the water bottles. An issue I had with the water bottle is that the one I had specifically wasn't rated as leak-proof, and it did leak on it's side or when placed in a bag. Bringing to the beach also gets sand stuck in the straw mechanism/air valve and causes leaks. For these reasons, I recently tried out a Hydroflask water bottle (also good, keeps very cold, but then I lost it) and Yeti (20% more expensive and did not keep cold very well, but also was a slightly different shape so that might have something to do with it; I ended up returning it). Anyway, came back to this SimpleModern one: in my short time with it, it hasn't leaked (even when on it's side or inverted, though I make sure to not rigorously shake it like some other reviews mention). The *only* minor complaint is that the air valve is quite tight: it pulls a vacuum at the beginning of the sip, and then makes an annoying suction noise after a second or two. The valve is quite tight to prevent leaks but for that reason you have to pull a little harder suction when you sip. Every time I sip it makes the noise. The Hydroflask mechanism for preventing leaks was better (but I also believe patent-protected, so not sure if we'll see it on a SimpleModern). Again, this is just a minor annoyance, it's not perfect, but it's good enough. I still recommend the water bottle, I like the company and will continue to buy their products.

I bought this last year (2024) and it worked well at first. I bought another one for my husband and we loved it. Ice retention is great and looks really chic. After a few months, it’s been a little hard to drink from the straw. At first, I thought it’s just the straw placement so I keep adjusting it. It worked sometimes but now it’s really hard to drink anymore. You keep on sucking but water doesn’t come out properly so you adjust it again and again and it sucks! You know the feeling of trying to drink a bitter medicine and you fill your water bottle so you’re prepared but hey it doesn’t come out right so you have this bitter medicine in your tongue and you keep sucking air from a gigantic bottle — you know how silly and frustrating it looks? Oh well. Just a thought. Maybe try a different brand. 🤷🏻‍♀️ not worth the money probably. Ü

We love a good simple modern water bottle. That’s all we buy. Liked this one with the smaller lid because you more water in this size vs the bigger top but not really a complaint just a preference. Keeps water ice cold, easy to clean has been dropped a handful of times and still great. Durable for sure. 10/10 would buy again.
