A true classic. It’s like the Timex of knives
I inherited one of my grandfather‘s case knives many years ago after he passed so I wanted to purchase one that I could actually use. His is still usable, but it’s more of an heirloom so I didn’t want to damage it. I use modern knives as well, but it’s also nice to just have a small non-threatening pocket knife to carry around. I don’t always carry this knife, but if I ever have to dress up or go somewhere where having a larger folding knife might not be the most appropriate option this works great. Now to those who like to knock on the old traditional slip joint, just keep in mind and try to remember that my grandpa and probably yours practically did everything with one of these little things for many many years. Now I’ve read where case can be kind of hit or miss on the blade sharpening and on the grinds, but this one that I purchased anyways, came absolutely perfect from the factory out of the box. It’s very smooth to open and to close. The Pins are all where they’re supposed to be and the bolsters and the wood are flush. I’ve had this one for a while now and I have to say it’s just a great little true pocket knife. It’s a classic. I find myself using both blades pretty much equally when I do use it and it is nice to have options. I’ve also carried Swiss Army knives for years and many of them have two blades so it’s not that unusual. I also have a Boker trapper knife, which is also very well-made. This knife just feels really nice to hold and to use and I love the color of the handles on this one. I’ll probably end up buying more as if I need yet another type of knife to collect. The struggle is real.

Nothing beats A Case Knife!
This was a gift for my youngest Son. I have bought several Case Knives in the past for gifts and will continue in the future. In my opinion Case makes the best EDC knife for the money.The knife arrived on time and was neatly packed in a new box. The box was not damaged in any manner and both the wrap and warranty papers were intact.The knife was as sharp as can be and the action was perfect.Overall the knife is beautiful and receives compliments when ever he pulls it out for use.The Mini Trapper is the perfect size knife for everyday carry. Its not big and bulky but still a good size for tough tasks.The only issue I saw with this knife was that blue is not on the top sides for the handle. Its a white bone color.I called Case about this and asked if it wasn't dyed completely and their answer was that no two knives ever look alike and each reflect diversity.I'm not sure what that meant but my Son still loved it. .Made In The USA means a lot to me.

Case has been a brand knife for as long as I can remember. This is a excellent knife very sharp.
This is a very good knife, don't waste your money on buying something made in China. Spend a little more and buy a Case knife, then you can rely on it. It stays sharp, and I use it quite often.

Case = 100% Hand-Made American Quality
This one was a little lighter than I prefer but it's a Case and that means American Quality. I would agree in this case (no pun intended) the color you're getting is portrayed perfectly in the picture. I'm not going to return it as a) I've got plenty of them and b) Case Knives always make great gifts.Side note (and please note): I'm not a Case salesman but I am sold on this brand. I just find it very rare to get more than your money's worth on a product these days.About a month before buying one I was looking for a knife that had more of that classic American appeal. You know, something timeless that your father or your grandfather would have carried around in his pocket. Case knives are just that. They are an instant collectible as each ones unique (hand made). If your like me and you've played the field with CRKT, SOG, and other folders but just want something new in your life Case is the one. Everything is flush, everything is quality.If you are worried about the absence of a liner-lock please note that Case does make models with liner locks.....or button locks for that matter. But make no mistake there is a audible click / pop when the blade is opened and contacts the end spring. I don't worry about it anymore like I did before I tried one. Actually, I found a Stockman model made in 1980 and a Peanut model made in '95 the other day and it functions just as good as their 2015 counterparts.If you're curious about one of these but are thinking more economical like Buck or Uncle Mike please do yourself a favor and don't bother. Not that they're terrible or anything but they don't have anywhere near the build quality or quality of materials invested in them as does a Case knife. Most often than not those other companies utilize cheaper materials and inferior metals and don't have near the tolerances that a Case does. Buy it once.

Case Knife
This is a beautiful knife . The blue bone handle gives the knife an impressive look . The hinges are tight and the knife fits well in the hand . Very sharp right out of the box . I'm sure this knife will serve me well . I almost hate to use it for it's so good looking but eventually I will .

Fantastic Knife
I bought this knife to carry around in my pocket while working around the house and in the woods. My brother really likes Case knives so I figured I'd give them a try. The current knives that I carry are smaller being about 2 1/2 inches long and I thought that this knife would be a more appropriate size at about 3 1/2 inches long closed. The knife is very well constructed. The finish is beautiful and the bone sides are perfectly fitted to the end plates. I went back and forth for some time whether or not to get the Chrome vanadium blades ore the stainless steel. I finally settled on the Chrome vanadium figuring that I would weekly keep the knife oiled. So far, I've had the knife for about 2 or 3 months and I've seen no signs of tarnishing or blade discoloration. My only concern is that the knife looks too good for everyday carry. I didn't know how I'd like the red bone finish but it looks beautiful.I highly recommend the for those looking for an everyday carry knife that is constructed well and made by a great company.
