Cat proof - almost (I wear both sleeves on the same arm to do the trick :-)). I have a cat that loves to play "fight" with my arm. He used to chew me up and scratch me like a wild grizzly bear. Now, with these sleeves, I can play with him and the scratches and bites do not go through at all. I can still feel the pressure, but nothing hurts me. Note: he's a big boy (13 lbs), so his mandible is super strong, and we don't usually trim his nails. One sleeve may suffice if your chomper is smaller than ours.
