Recent RCS24 budget friendly hobby grade crawler
For under a $100. It’s well worth it. Did pretty much the same upgrade and free mods as my scx24 and it performs amazingly well especially for having a hard body. Here’s what I’ve done to mine. Wheels and tires. All aluminum portal axles and a stock scx24 steering servo. I will be putting a digital servo in it soon since the esc/ receiver is digital and the stock scx servo is not. The I did the standard free scx mods with trimming the body, frame mounting the shocks and removing the spring and now it performs just like my scx crawlers.

Car doesn't offroad very well and tends to be very unstable
Car kept getting stuck, doesnt go very fast and is very unstable

Price is too close to an Axial brand crawler, should be cheaper
Price is too high for a knock off. I would buy an Axial on sale for around $100 instead of this one. Now if this was $50-$60 it would be well worth it. Does what is suppose to for the most part and is fun. Just the Axial brand of crawlers are better to drive. But I did buy it to do a comparison.
