Useful kit, but you can also just 'do it yourself'
The battery for my Honda Civic remote control / key fob died & I got this kit. Generally speaking, the kit did what it needed to do, I was able to easily replace the battery and get the remote control working again.That said...The kit includes a prying tool to seperate the pieces of the key fob (to expose the battery). There is no reason why you can't use a quarter, for example, to achieve the same thingThe kit includes a (pair of) battery in order to replace the one in your existing remote control. In retrospect, I could have just gotten one directly - and didn't need this kit to supply it.Overall, I'm happy with this kit, but there is no reason why you can't 'do it yourself'

Cost of changing them youself vs auto dealer!! Unbelievable.
These batteries were inexpensive and easy to install. Instruction were provided, all I had to do was scan the package.
