I’ve been genuinely impressed with the BISSELL Little Green Max Pet. For a portable unit, the suction and cleaning power are excellent. It does a great job pulling pet hair, stains, and odors out of carpets, upholstery, and car interiors without soaking the material. The unit is easy to set up and use, and the spray pattern is controlled enough that you’re not over-wetting surfaces. I especially like how effective it is on set-in pet stains and muddy footprints—things that cheaper spot cleaners tend to struggle with. The tank size is reasonable for spot cleaning, and cleanup afterward is straightforward. It’s lightweight and compact, which makes it easy to store and quick to grab when you need it. While it’s obviously not a replacement for a full-size carpet cleaner, it’s perfect for targeted messes, pet accidents, stairs, and vehicle interiors. Overall, this is a solid, well-built portable cleaner that actually performs as advertised. If you have pets or kids and want a reliable spot cleaner, the Little Green Max Pet is well worth it.

I have a full-size carpet cleaner that I like, but it’s nearly impossible to clean the stairs with it and it’s a lot of work for quick spot cleaning. So I bought this, hoping to be able to clean my stairs without wrenching my back. This little carpet cleaner definitely exceeded my expectations! It is lightweight (even with water in it), easy to use, and it does a great job! And much, MUCH easier to clean out after use than my big one. And I love the rubber tool option - great for getting out embedded dirt, dog hair, etc.! Two minor downsides: It would not be good for big jobs - it takes 2-3 tanks of water to do a flight of stairs depending on how dirty/how much scrubbing, and it would take a lot more to thoroughly clean a whole room. But that comes with being lightweight - water is heavy! And I wish the cord were a little longer. But, overall, my main regret is that I didn’t get this sooner!

Five stars. This thing saved me during a not-so-fun dog emergency. My dog had an upset stomach, and this cleaned it up way better (and faster) than paper towels ever could. Strong suction, easy to use, and actually works on gross, real-life messes. My only regret is not ordering it sooner…I could’ve avoided a lot of gagging. If you have pets, this is a must.

When it works, it's magic. The first one I got didn't spray - it just dripped when I pressed the trigger, if at all. (Luckily I tried it just before Amazon's return window expired.) I had to manually put the solution & water in a spray bottle & use the machine to suck it up. Not ideal, but it got the job done. Thankfully, I was able to hit the return window just in time. Made sure to try the second one immediately after receiving. In a stroke of good fortune? the cat threw up on the rug the day before it arrived. This one worked as advertised. Filled it with hot water & the water heater boosted the heat. The sprayer worked this time! The cleaning solution is effective. Machine sucked up the waste water (which, to be fair, was not an issue with either machine.) After a couple passes with the vacuum, the rug dried quickly. Easy to empty & clean. Not pleased the first one failed hard right out of the box, which is why I won't give it 5 stars. Check that the sprayer works when you get it! Like, first. thing. Don't wait until you need it to find out it doesn't spray! If I had waited another couple days I would have missed the return window & had to deal with Bissell support, which judging by other reviews is not a pleasant experience... I am happy with the performance of the second unit. However, quality control appears to be lacking, so make sure you test it immediately after receiving. May the force be with you & I hope you get a good one the first time...

The little green max pet cleaner if nice. It works well. I have had this for a while and never used it until this week when my dog gave it a run for the money. The 3 prong cord is nice and long. The hose wraps around the machine twice. For such a small machine it has plenty of suction to vacuum up the wet debris. It completely removed the stain from my carpet from where my dog was sick. The only complaint that I have is the difficulty of changing out the brushes. They snap into place easy, but are close to impossible to remove.

Very impressive engineering! We have 2 Labrador Retrievers and have owned 2 Bissell upright carpet shampooers. They were not as effective as I would have liked and seemed to break with regularity. This portable unit is well built and extremely effective and easy to use. It has excellent suction for such a small machine. It is easy to clean and store. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a pet. Our first Lab vomit issue was easily cleaned up this morning despite a deep shag carpet. Not looking forward to the next mess but I know we will be ready!

By far, the best Little Green I have ever used! I have loved my Little Green and Little Green Deluxe, but when this one went on sale I jumped and I am so glad that I did! We have a puppy and a special needs son. So between potty training and just general spills: this is getting used almost daily. It's so easy to take apart to clean out the tank, it holds a lot of water and it cleans so good. I also am completely in love with the updated hose tip compared to other machines. The top piece comes right off the attachment so you can easily rinse and keep it clean and sanitary. It also has this great little feature where you can reverse the water flow to clean out the line after each use to prevent smells and keep everything clean and seriously y'all. It's a game changer. You don't have to keep track of any extra pieces and you can keep your machine running perfectly. I also love the little rubber "brush" that you can use for tile surfaces to quickly clean small spills and spaces. This is absolutely worth every single penny and an amazing value for the money. I really didn't think I would be completely obsessed with a little appliance, but I am.

I picked this up because of pet accidents in my new townhome. I've had spot cleaners before and was never very impressed with the results, so I went after my first stain with baited breath. No need. This cleaner tackled all the stains I threw its way on the first try. Four stains in and I still haven't changed the tank. Efficient too! Instructions are straightforward as is the operation. Cord length is way more than you'll generally need. Could even tackle a car that is a mile from your nearest garage outlet. Highly recommend this cleaner.
