4.8'' Titanium Alloy Bolt Action Pen

First off I really enjoy this pen. I'll rate the pen body differently from the ink cartridge.The pen body is lightweight and just the right length. Over all I'm a big fan of the fit and finish of the body. The 5 stars is because of the fit and finish. The other issues I point out below are just net picking. For the net picking: 1st. The original spring was a little too light for my taste, I just swapped it out with another spring from a cheap old pen, just about any click pen spring will work so that's nice. 2nd The tread at the head only has 1 full rotations of engagement. Meaning the strength at this joint many be questionable, but so far I've had no issues, just see it as a risk. 3rd I carry this as an EDC item in a jeans pocket. The pocket clip is is very strong for this but is slim and is a tight fit over large pieces of fabric. But I expect this to loosen up over time.For the ink cartridge, it is a deeper black when compared to something like a bic pen, which I personally enjoy. It does seem to put down a good amount of ink, on some paper types it maybe a little slow to absorb, standard paper does not have any issues. When I first just started using it, it would have issues starting and stopping the flow of ink, likely to just being in storage. I don't see this as an issue for the pen overall, I would just replace the cartridge if that had continued, it does come with several replacements when needed.

Very nice pen with a good feel when writing.Unfortunately, when I tried to replace the parker style refill that came with the pen, I noticed that the top of the refill leaked ink on the top inside portion. I was able to clean as much as I could but you don't expect this issue with a brand new item.

Really great pen. It's a small pen , best used in smaller hands!!

I use this pen for bullet journalling and it's quickly become an EDC favorite due to its medium-size and good weight profile. I replaced the cartridge with a black Fisher Space Pen refill and it's a newly beloved pen in my repertoire.

Decent enough pen, takes Parker style refills (will not fit g2 refills)The mechanism is not polished so it’s pretty rough. I took mine apart, polished the inner barrel, and added some grease and it’s much better.You get what you pay for it’s a cheap titanium pen. I’m a fan of the Schmidt easy flow 9000 refills.

I love the way this pen looks and it's the perfect size for EDC--not too long and not too short. The pen diameter and weight are also perfect for me. The refills it came with write smooth but the line thickness is a bit high, about 0.7 mm.The bolt action mechanism is a little scratchy and I prefer push button myself but it works well.The brand "Cool Hand" is etched on to the clip and I think it would look better without it.Finally, when unscrewing the pen to replace the refill, it's easy for the spring to fall out as it's not contained in either half of the pen. It's easy for it to fall out unless you're careful.Overall, I really like the look, size, weight of this pen--it says its Ti alloy and it feels heavier than my other Ti pens but the weight is good. Nice pen if you're looking for a reasonably priced EDC pen.
