Nice, ez curl bar. Actually it weighs 9.2 lbs with collars on, which is fine. Side note. Whoever does their marketing stuff obviously never deadlifted. Nobody uses an EZ curl bar for DLs. Goofy. That little thing side it’s a great bar, the second one I bought first was for a friend.

It’s a VERY nice bar! I definitely recommend this rather than the one from Walmart!! This is my first curl bar and it exceeds my expectations!!!!

I got the black anodized version instead of chrome, and I'm very pleased with it. The bar is very hefty, solid-feeling, and well-balanced. I love the star collars it comes with.One con - the knurling on this curling bar is extremely course, almost obsessively so. This makes for an absolutely great grip, but the significant degree of roughness also necessitates the use of workout gloves. When used with gloves, this curling bar has an absolutely fabulous grip. When used without gloves, it is noticeably uncomfortable to curl with, and eventually it will tear up your hands until serious palm callouses are produced.At $36.99 (the price at the time this review was written), this bar is a good deal. In addition, it'll make a great gift for a friend, workout buddy, or someone dear to you who's interested in weightlifting. Buy it (but with a pair of exercise gloves). 4 stars

This is a pretty sturdy curl bar. Makes working out easy. Giving 4 stars because I always have to twist the end pieces tighter bc it constantly comes loose. But still works great and doesn’t affect function. Just annoying lol

I think this is a pretty nice curl bar. It seems to be very good quality, I don't see any flaws in the black finish on mine. Most of my bars are silver colored or plated I guess but I have a pair of 1" dumbbell handles with star collars and they are black as well so I thought this would be a nice match to them. It seems like people either love or hate the star collars, personally I like them. The knurls on this bar feel pretty nice to me. I've had some that were either cut way too aggressive or not enough but I think these feel just right. I haven't had 300 pounds on it, which is the listed capacity, but I've had 125 and it works well with that weight.Overall I think this is a nice bar and a good value, I recommend it.
