Product good, Amazon service not so good
I am learning to fly and use a flight simulator to practice, procedures, navigation etc. My old computer unfortunately retired and so after long research I found the Asus fx503vm en184t, bought it, tried it, absolutely amazing. I was delighted with the speed and clarity. Less than a week later, still happy with my purchase it crashed terminally; these things can happen. Amazon replaced it immediately and I received it two days later. Happy as Larry, I loaded the simulator software plus a few addons and started to test it. To my horror it was slower than my old computer, running at 50fps, it was juddering and stopping so tried 20fps still juddering. Tried a few setting but didn't want to delve too much so I sent it back. After an amazing service the first time, Amazon appear not to like second returns of the same item and will not replace it. I have to accept a refund which can take up to two weeks. Has anyone tried conducting a home run business on a tablet? I need better service than this Amazon. In a nutshell; two laptops failed, it can happen. I give the laptop 5 stars for performance and I will try another. Amazon gets 2 stars for good service which turned bad, hence the overall low rating

Not bad, not great..
Overall it's a nice laptop for it's price. The keyboard is nice to type on and having the num pad is excellent on a laptop. Plays most games on high settings but just remember what you're buying, a mid-range gaming laptop. 'Mid-range' and 'gaming' are the key things to keep in mind..it's no power house but it'll do. One thing to nost though it the touchpad is HORRENDOUS. Honestly nothing but intermittent problems with it and drives me mad. It has a mind of it's own and sometimes just stops working altogether for a few moments (I've tried every driver and BIOS update and it hasn't fixed it). If you don't plan on using the touchpad at all times I would highly recommend this laptop, if you won't have a desk or access to a mouse for the majority of the things you do I'd steer clear.

let down by poor screen
WHEN THERE ARE NO MOVING VIDEO IMAGES ON THE SCREEN IT NOT TWO BAD FOR A TN PANEL, ON USING MORE FOR MEDIA-VIDEO (DOWNLOADS AND ON DEMAND) THE SCREEN AS SHOWN HOW POOR IT IS, BAD PIXEL DISTORTION, BAD COLOURS, BRIGHTNESS NOT TOO BAD , GOOD BUILT-NICE KEYBOARD-COULD UPGRADE POSSIBLE-FAST, JUST LET DOWN BY SCREEN, YOU CANNOT JUST BLAME IT’S A TV PANEL, I HAVE A OLD SONY VAIO WITH TV PANEL, AND ITS WAY BETTER THE SCREEN ON THIS

Perfect budget gaming laptop
Got this on sale last Black Friday. Delivery was quite fast and well packaged. The product is as described. GTX1060 graphic processor means this is VR ready, though dedicated graphics memory is only 3GB. Storage is quite small as well at 128GB, but you could easily swap a bigger SSD or HDD with 2.5" form factor using SATA interface. Played Call of Duty so far. Battery life is measly 4 hours, though this don't heat much. Fan is also quite noisy but not really annoying nor affect the game audio, which I would say is quite decent with its built-in speakers. I had it for a 2 weeks now and so far no complaints.

As cheap as it can get for a GTX 1060
I have had this laptop for a week now and I really like it. It's fast and can play all of the new triple AAA games, it stays pretty cool even after gaming for 2-3 hours although the fans can be a bit noisy but you can't get everything your way at this price. You can't get a GTX 1060 at this price, most of the one's I found were at least another 150-200£ and the retailers even sell a 1050 ti for around 850-900£. The speakers are good enough but nothing great, the battery backup is a bit on the shorter side if you game on it. It's suprisingly light weight which I didn't expect, the build quality is good. Over all it's a fantastic laptop at this price

Awesome
Laptop for son who researched long and hard and loves it. He’d be disappointed if he needed to use the trackpad as that’s the weak bit - everything else is awesome.

affordable gaming laptop
+ good price to performance ratio+ 120Hz screen+ powerful as my previous desktop+ nice and quiet keyboard (would personally prefer white illumination over red)- absolutely awful touch-pad- very noisy when gaming (otherwise nice and quiet)
