365 by Whole Foods Market, Organic Thick & Chunky Medium Salsa, 35 Ounce (Pack of 2)

Great taste.

This is the perfect salsa. We only eat the mild version. My protip: Even when well- refrigerated, salsa often gets moldy quicker than most jarred foods. If you're not going to eat the entire jarful right away: Rather than risk the salsa going "off" in the fridge, I spoon about a heaping tablespoon of salsa into 6-8 tiny containers and store them in the freezer. The salsa freezes well and then can be defrosted as you need it. I use those little "to go" containers (plastic) that we get when we eat at a restaurant that provides them for different types of salsa/condiments.

I have only one concern with this overall tasty/clean product. That being "organic natural flavor? What are these organic natural flavor supposed to be? It is a shame the FDA doesn't require these actually be listed. I really makes you wonder if you knew, would you still buy it.

This is truly an excellent salsa. I love that it’s organic, that it comes in a glass jar (as opposed to a plastic container) and that it is truly mild. It also stays fresh for a reasonable amount of time if kept in the refrigerator after being opened. I love using it with my scrambled eggs, as a dip, with my vegan chicken, etc. It’s also reasonably priced.

If you love a medium spicy salsa this may interest you. You can use it with tortilla chips of course but it is also good on scrambled eggs and you may even consider dipping butterflied shrimp in it too just like a cocktail sauce. I put this in the refrigerator to surprise my husband and he commented that he enjoyed using it. Some of my best memories of eating out include tortilla chips and a bowl of salsa! Wow! This is very good. I am fortunate to be married to a great cook who has a friend who is a great cook so I am so often given the best food anywhere. They make their own salsa, and it's fantastic. They also make pupusas, taquitos and other things that go with salsa. One time there was no salsa in the house, and Carmen had just made a mess of pupusas so I got this. I had to hide it because they would get mad if they saw it. But I gotta tell ya, this was delicious. It went great with the pupusas and taquitos. So now I just keep a jar of this in the back fridge hidden behind the cheese.

The metal top was damaged on one small jar of this Sala and some if its spicy content had obviously leaked out in the same large packaged box on a few of my other items. Amazon did not securely wrap the glass jar of Salsa and should not have placed it in the same box with loosely fit large heavy item. They need to improve and show professional care with securing packaging jar of Salsa. Otherwise normally this Salsa is delicious when added to some foods like baked chicken.
