This is a good RC car. It is about 29cm long. The car is nicely made and is badged Nissan and is modelled on a Nissan GTR NISMO, a high end sports car that looks pretty cool. The main car battery is rechargable and can be charged using a USB 5volt charger. The charge cable is provided but you need a phone charger to plug it into. The remote control needs 3 x AA batteries that are not provided. The body of the car is a shell that can be removed via a series of split pins, similar to other RC cars I have had. It comes with slick wheels that make the car drive like a drift car on hard surfaces and standard wheels that make it drive normally. You also get a few cones to set up a basic course. The car has forwards and reverse and you can also turn the front lights on or off. The rear lights come one when you reverse. The car goes well. I am not sure it does 40km/h as claimed but it is fast enough. The car is reasonably robust, although I think it might start to get damaged if you drove it flat out into a hard object. Overall, this is a cool looking model car that works well and I think would make a great gift.

This RC car has great potential to be a 5 star car for the price, however the build quality on this one was not great. The car would intermittently stop then not work. Until picked up and moved. Turned out the main motor cable connector was damaged (see picture). After the car repair was actually good fun. It has lights and reverse lights. Remote can control them as well. Speed switch to make it go even faster than normal trigger. Has some rapid speed. Drift wheels can get up spinning on the spot. Softer shell help as crashing is very likely at full speed. Comes with the car battery but not the remote. For the cost this car was great to play with however if you got it damaged would not make you think it. Only gets 2 stars for that reason. If you get a working one out of the box was very robust after I repaired the plug.

My Nephew loved this for his birthday. He is now 8 years old and he had a blast playing with it in the Driveway. I picked it up and was very impressed with the detailed looks of it and the solid feel. It seems to be well built and I am hoping it will last him for several months. It scoots across pretty fast and he loves doing the back wheel drifting with it. I noticed that he goes onto the smooth part of the Garage slowly and then speeds it up as he takes the corner and the Back end of the car comes out. So the speed is adjustable and not just full throttle like the cheaper cars. The battery life could be better, I think he gets around 12-15 minutes out of it, but my experience is that most of these toys do not run all that long before needing to be recharged. So far very happy.
