This battery is a great replacement for my 750w Rattan bicycle! I struggled to find a recommended replacement, so I took detailed measurements of the original Rattan battery, and this one seemed to fit. I could not have asked for a better replacement. The installation required a bit of work, but very straightforward. You can see the fit and compare with my wife's bike's original Rattan battery. brief on installation: very well designed replacement-- the baseplate 4 screws and identical hole placement are a snap. the new plug insert fits perfectly, and the wiring connections are located below the plate, and accessed by removing the plate behind the pedal crank. make sure you note the + side to be the same as the battery +. I cut the wires on the existing connection and soldered those wires into the connectors on the new plug (I removed the insulation from both wires and used electrical tape to insulate the wires. Be sure to double check that the wires are + to + (reds). Remove the mounting rail (two screws), install the new rail into the base, line up the hole at top with the locking bolt (extend the bolt), mark the rail to center the top mounting hole, and then remove and mark the location of the bottom mounting hole using the original rail (scratches where the screws went. Drill the holes (make holes oblong so a little wiggle room for fit), install the rail, drop in the battery! replace the lower cover (I found 1 screw was a larger thread, but noted that an put it back in the same hole. I've ridden several times now and all is good! I find I have to be sure when I turn the key to 'on' that it makes full contact and I get a battery level reading in the green. I'll make a note to update this review in a few months.

I had to modify the Heybike Ranger to accept the battery. It comes with everything you’ll need. It really wasn’t that difficult. It took about an hour. The battery was much less than the original battery. I haven’t tried it yet but the bike powered right up. Also I reached out to Heybike for a replacement under warranty and they told me it’s on BO for the last two months!

I accidentally ordered the wrong battery for my son’s e-bike. The sellers were very responsive and offered to exchange it for the correct one. New battery fits and works perfectly.

I wanted an extra battery since I do alot of riding. Bought this thinking it would was an exact match for etrike battery. It was not an exact match. Same voltage, same Ah, BUT it only has one positive and one negative outlet, and two useless outlets. My etrike requires 2 positives and 2 negatives. You CAN NOT RETURN IT!! So now I'm stuck with a new battery that I have no use for BUYER BE WARE!!!
