If definitely feels & smells authentic, as I've been consuming kalonji seeds powder mixed with honey, on an empty stomach everyday for the last 3 years, so I would know if it wasn't original. So far, I've used it for my hair oil treatment ( pre-shampoo) wherein I mix it with 7 other oils. It does give a nice moisturizing effect to the scalp and hair. But if you google the benefits of Kalonji seeds powder/ Oil, you'll find references to ancient texts that say that Kalonji seeds are a cure for everything except death. The Thymoquinone compound in these have the highest anti-inflammatory index, better than curcumin found in turmeric.

Kalonji or black (umin) seed oil is touted as an anti-cancer treatment option in alternative-cancer care. Reading Jane McLellands book and her facebook group, i wanted to try ths product as a preventive (&cancer cure). Color is obviously dark. I couldnt say much for effectiveness or purity since I am not a lab (market is shouting for independent facilites that could check effectiveness and purity). smell is good and i consume this orally and not for skin care. I have never tasted black cumin seed oil, but the taste is good but excessively sweet. I consume a tablespoon. The oil is shipped in a glass bottle but the manufacturers choose aesthetics over basic physics. Since it is tall and slender a mere accidental touch will cause it to fall to the side and break into pieces. Hence, docking a star for making my life miserable after I unpacked it.

Very good black seed oil.. i like its nutty slight smell n absorbs well easily into skin. Also feel gives a shine to skin since been applying on hands n legs..

Very good product. If you have IBS or IBD or any gut inflammation or pimples on face. Just drink 1 spoon of this oil with each meal. You will feel relax. It is 100 times more powerful than turmeric and ayurveda vaata, pita, capha friendly. Tridoshnashak. Consume everyday with everymeal. Glass bottle is also very good, thanks for not using plastic. Bottle cap is also great made for pouring.

I've consumed it a few times - may be 30 times in the last 1 year. The best way is sublingual. Keep it in the mouth for a few mins. I take close to 1 tablespoon. Within 1 hour I feel happy. Cognition improves. BSO's effects are acute - peaks quickly and goes away in a few hours. Repeated usage can lead to some lingering effects in the brain - benefitting memory. But for me, continued use has led to acid reflux. Therefore I only consume it once in a while when I want to feel really happy. It is good for skin issues. Just rubbing a little on the affected skin area has helped me. I like its smell. So I rub a little around my nose sometimes.
