“offbeat chic” , the most beautiful colour and prettiest shade of blue I have ever seen. I have always been willing to try Essie nail polish but I found them quite expensive. Now that I have received this nail polish and have finally tried it myself , I must say it’s totally worth the money. It is so smooth to apply and has a very soft and wide nailpolish brush. I only applied 1 coat and it gave me a very nice and opaque colour. The nailpolish dries very very quick which is obviously a plus point because it means less chances of smudging. Essie has sooo many different colours to choose from, all of them are so unique. Another thing I love about this nailpolish is that it doesn’t chip off. Usually when I apply nail polish they don’t last a day especially when I do the washing up. However this one is still fresh on my nails its day 3. But at the same time it comes off very smoothly with a nail varnish remover. I will definitely recommend this nail polish and this colour too. Perfect for in the summer or in the winter too.

💅 I recently received the Essie Odd Squad nail polish in colour 954 Offbeat Chic, which comes in a 13.5ml bottle. The built-in brush is an expected feature that makes application very straightforward: the brush is reasonably flexible. The polish glides on effortlessly, allowing for precise control, while the smooth consistency of the polish ensures an even coat without streaks. The drying time is relatively quick, which is helpful when you're short on time. However, for the best results, I found that you definitely need to apply multiple coats to achieve a vibrant finish. While a single coat can be managed in a pinch, I discovered that three coats are necessary to achieve a fully opaque colour. 💅 The polish does deliver a lovely high shine that enhances the overall look of nails. However, I noticed that the first coat felt slightly gritty, and the formula is a bit on the thin side, which requires several applications for the desired intensity. Despite these minor issues, the overall application experience was good, if time consuming; waiting for the coats to dry. ✔️

I have this in the colour offbeat chic which in the bottle looks solid colour, no shimmer, is a bright vibrant blue with a hint of turquoise. Don't be afraid to wear blue, if bright red polish is acceptable for work so is blue. I first prepared my nails with an Essie base coat to prevent staining than set about painting the standard two coats. Every Essie nail polish will have a different formula. In this brand-new bottle, the polish was very thin and watery and the first coat looked worryingly thin and patchy. As very thin it dried quicky and I set about the second coat which did a very good job resulting in a solid colour looking the same as in the bottle. The colour looks very nice against my darker medium skin tone and suits my shorter nails well. Was very easy to apply neatly, didn’t smell overtly strong and dried very quickly too, was very relaxing and enjoyable to paint my nails. Topped off with an Essie top coat. I’ve been wearing the colour on my nails for 4 days so far and only now it is starting show very minimal wear on the tips. I have got on with my life as normal, I don’t normally wear rubber gloves when washing up.

Really love the Essie brand for nail polishes and this one is no exception. It is such a vibrant and happy blue shade and totally perfect for the summer. I really love this shade for my toenails and have received compliments on what a great shade it is several times. The polish goes on very smoothly, with it being not too thick or too thin. I think you could just about get away with one coat if you was in a real rush but I prefer to put on two coats. This polish has quite a high shine to it. On my toe nails this polish lasts absolutely ages without chipping or peeling away. I can literally leave it until you can see my new nail growth at the bottom! On my nails I can usually get about 4 or 5 days without it chipping, but my hands go through a lot, so I am pretty impressed with that.

My wife uses this brand of nail polish almost exclusively and when getting some new polishes Essie is always the go-to for reliable strong long lasting colours with good coverage. The bottle looks good and this blue is a really nice looking once applied. There is not really any requirement for any top covering, that may be personal choice, but this nail varnish covers extremely well and leaves a really good strong blue colouring. It is also long lasting and durable and easy to apply unlike some polishes which require multiple coats and tend to chip very easily Essie is ways the best brand of polish for me and would recommend them every time.
